    633T sub cone cracked inside?

Hey guys.  I was dusting off my speakers and was cleaning around the sub cone on my 633T's.  I put the dust cloth a tad bit inside the sub cone to remove some dust when I felt kinda like a ridge inside the sub cone.  It almost feels like the sub cone is cracked on the inside.

Is there supposed to be a ridge inside the sub cone?  If not I am going to think about getting the replaced with the warranty.

     Thanks for the help

Hmmm, no the cone should be smooth, there's often a little ridge where the cone meets the dust cap in the center of the driver so maybe that's what you are feeling?

I can tell you that the carbon fiber weave that the drivers are made out of is pretty strong and I've never heard of a cone cracking before, but I suppose there's a first time for everything.

If there isn't any buzzing or distortion from the speaker and it's performing normally then I personally wouldn't worry about it.  But if you think that it requires repair feel free to give us a call at 888-880-8992 or shoot us an email at customerservice@aperionaudio.  Thanks!
