Is anyone using the 6C with non-Aperion mains? And if so how well does it mesh. I know that some will say that the mains & center should be timbre matched & others say that you can get away with a different center without too much of a problem. I know the best way is to order one & give it a listen with my mains (AAD 2001 monitors) but I'm curious if anyone is doing this & what the results are. The center is pretty much for movies, & TV. I listen to music in 2 channel mode. My center is from another AAD line since the 2001 line is strictly 2 channel & doesn't have a matching center or surrounds to compliment the mains. It sounds fine but I feel it's lacking & am intrigued with Aperion & would like to give them a listen. Any thoughts?

Hello there,

It's pretty hard to say how those speakers will integrate together, since I'm not familiar with those AADs.  Also your room will play a significant role in how the speakers will end up sounding together. 

It is usually recommended that you stick with the same brand for your fronts and center, but if you want to give our 6C a shot we would love for you to try it out and if it doesn't match up you can always send it back.  Alternatively maybe you'll like it so much that you'll want to pick up a pair of fronts from us too.
