The purpose of this posting is to both thank the folks at Aperion,and help inform potential new buyers of their fine home entertainement system. In this age of Internet buying, seperating the truly fine products, and companies from potential scams or at least disappointments has become a major task.I can say without reservation that the Aperion Compact speaker package has more than met my expectations. They sound great, look more expensive than they are, and were a joy to unpack and set up. I am not an audiophile,but do appreciate good equipment.For those of you looking to set up a wonderful home theater system at a reasonable price (for the average man) give the Intimus 422/S-8 Compact Home Theater System an audition. The result I think will be more satisfying than a trip to the local big box electronic store.Now I must write some heresy.I teamed my Aperion speakers with a Panasonic SAXR55-K all digital receiver.I know that Aperion sells the products of 2 other companies.My mentioning this is only for those folks out there wondering if "other companies" receivers will also sound good in combination with the Aperion products.My experiance with the Panasonic unit in combination with Aperion indicates that a person can feel confident that @ 100w per channel via the Panasonic the Aperions will play loud, and sweet.
