When I use my Denon 2807's auto setup, it displays that my center speaker (634-VAC) has phase error. I have checked my wire connections. They are correct. I double check the denon webiste. It says that some center speakers are designed to have reverse phase intentionally. I wonder if this is the case for 634-VAC. Could anyone confirm this for me? Or is there anything wrong about my connection?

Don't know about intentional design as to VAC phase, but my 533VAC also shows reversed phase using the Denon auto set up.  No problem in operation, though.  And it sounds mighty fine.

I'm using a 634-VAC on a Denon 4306 and didn't encounter any problems with my auto setup.  I wonder if you changed the wiring on the center channel to one of the other speakers if you would still see the same error, and/or moved another speaker to your center channel.  I'd experiment with both using the different positions and the wiring to see if there were any consistancies or inconsistancies.

the 5C manual says it's common to have reversed polarity during autodetection...  maybe the same happens for the 634vac?

Hey JC welcome to the forum!

Yeah the Audyssey detecting speakers out of phase when they are in the correct phase is a known issue in the Denons, check it out:

You can go ahead and ignore it, if you want to confirm it's an error though go ahead and reverse the wires and most times the auto set up will still tell you that the speaker is out of phase, which of course is impossible.
