I agree, it was a unfair to compair the 533-T to the Silver RS6 since that is in the price range of the 633-T. (I would have very much liked to have seen that comparison.) Although, if the Monitor Audio speaker was an internet direct only speaker, maybe it's price would've been lower and closer to the 533-T's.
What disappointed me was that he did compare it to the Nola Mini (which cost less) and it sounded like the Nola bettered the 533-T on all counts--midrange detail, extended bass, high-level dynamic contrasts and the tweeter's detail. He had nothing to say about the attributes of the 533-T in this comparison.
I'm not trying to put down the 533-T. On the contrary, I'm considering buying it. So please don't misinterpret this. It just read like a very good review until the end when he mentioned comparisons.
I was also a bit perplexed by the reviewer referring to the 533-T as not really an "audiophile" speaker. I reread this part several times trying to read between the lines and figure out why he would say that. Is a low priced speaker a non-audiophile speaker? Is that supposed to be a bad thing? How does he define an audiophile speaker?
