I recently heard this groovy album from '71. The group was Barbara & Ernie, album was Prelude to..., label was Cotillion.

The album featured a few jazz musicians like Keith Jarrett and some studio vets like Ralph McDonald, and Chuck Rainey. I'd describe it as light psych rock funk jazz. Very hip stuff and it sounded great for 1971. Very impressive. I've been looking around for the album now and it seems that it's a hard to find rare thing.

Just curious if anyone has ever heard of the group or the album before?
