Anyone using a 533-C as a Center Channel?

I've been haggling over budget constraints with the wife for our family room project.  I want my system to be somewhat musical so I have to get the 533 fronts.  I will get 422's for the rears and in order to save a few I was thinking of either the 422 center or the 533-C.  Maybe in a year i could upgrade to the 533 VAC.

     Thoughts?

    dlenart,

I've used a 532-C as a center for over a year in a fairly good-sized living room with two 533-PT as my mains.  With a properly balanced 5.1 system, it is more than up to the task of keeping up with the 533-PT.  The 532-C should be fine with your 533-T mains.

Thanks for the response.  I was trying to see if I could cut enough corners to get a sub with my system purchase, but it just wasn't feasible at this time.  So, the benfit of not getting a sub was that I was able to get the 533 VAC :)  I will be using a 300 watt 12" velodyne for now until I can order a Bravus and I am probably going to want to be upgrading to some nice 5T's by years end.  But who knows maybe I'll be more than happy with my 532 bookshelves and have no desire to upgrade
