    Intimus 533T and Yamaha rx-v1700

    Ok guys and gals.

I have a question on calibration and settings:I bought a yamaha rx-v1700 and Intimus 533T

The Intimus speakers are placed in a room as Zone 2.

In Zone 1 I have a 5.1 system with Klipsch speakers.

The Intimus speakers sound very clear but definitely not warm. Is there a way I can calibrate the Yamaha or ...

    What's your experience?

Hey, go easy with terms ..I am a newbie and not familiar with all the fancy words

    Thanks

    Hey Al,

If memory serves, you don't have much in the way of settings options for the zone 2 unless Yamaha made some big changes in that regard recently. I CAN say that the 533-T benefit greatly from some break in time. While I don't think I would call the 533-T a "warm" speaker (to use the parlance of our times)  it is certainly not as balanced straight out of the box as it becomes after 50 some-odd hours of use. Run it for a while then have a seat and see what you think. Keep us posted!
