Dolby TrueHD vs DTS Master Audio

    Which do you prefer?
Do or do not, there is no try.

People will debate they are the same.. But depending on the source there can be a difference.. I usually prefer DTS since to me it uses the surrounds with more dynamic sound.  Technically it also is sampled at a higher bit-rate...

But there is one True HD track which is really good and is the best I have heard yet.. National Treasure 2 has the best True HD track I have heard yet and has the highest bit-rate I have seen for True HD tracks..

In the past, my votes have gone overwhelmingly in the DTS camps favor. Previously, it was primarily because of the higher bitrate and better dynamic performance. One factor that folks often overlook is that the soundtrack is mixed differently by each of the studios. I think that factor is going to be the defining one. If history holds true, my votes will remain with DTS when it is available. I've never done a head to head comparison and not picked DTS.
