    6-IC Aimable Tweeter...

I can't for the life of me figure out how to aim the tweeter in my two 6-ICs.  In the manual it states it can be done but I can't figure out how.  I'm wondering if it's only for the 6-IW.

    Can someone help me out.

    Thanks,

    Bryan

    Hey Bryan,

The in ceilings definitely have an aimable tweeter as well.  You should be able to change the orientation of the tweeter by pressing on the innermost ring around the tweeter firmly.

Feel free to give us a call or log into webchat if you need any additional help, thanks!

I'll give that a try tonight.  Just didn't want to break it in case I was mistaken.

    Thanks,

    Bryan

I installed my 6-ICs last night and had the same problem. It definitely felt like I might break something if I pushed too hard.  Jason, on another note, is the foam liner that is in the speaker grill supposed to stay in it or I am supposed to remove that after speaker installation?

I e-mailed Aperion this same question when I got my 6-ICs, and they said to leave the foam liner in place.  It will not take away anything from the sound.

You can leave that it no problem. It is actually there to "mask" the speaker underneath the grill. If you decided to paint the grill, you would want to take it out as obviously that could gunk things up, but otherwise leaving it in = no harm, no foul.
