    My 4T SD system

    Hey guys

just wanted to drop you a line and let you know i now have my speakers set up with my onkyo 606 reciever, and im very happy with the sound quality. i havnt had a lot of time to tinker with settings yet, but i will be chiming in to ask questions when i get a chance to play with it more. I have the fronts and center speaks set at 100 hz crossover freq, and the sub is at 80Hz. Like i said Sounds great so far and thnx for and awsome speaker.Big Smile

Hey Rumpity. Glad you're enjoying the system. First thing I'd recommend is drop your front and center down to 80 so you'll get the 80-100hz frequencies! That'll make it all sound better! Don't forget to take some photos.
    Speakers: Aperion 6T's, 6C, 4B's, and 8D
Receivers: Onkyo 805 and Pioneer SX-1050
    DVD player: Oppo 981HD
    TT: Pioneer PL-71
    Amp Selector: Niles DPS-1

I set my sub to bypass and let my AVR control the crossover.  I agree with Jason, usually you would set the sub and the fronts to the same frequency.  100 Hz on the sub should be fine.  Much above 100 and the bass can be localized.

    Cheers

That's cool. I drove a 67 RS/SS 350 when I was in high school (boy I wish I had that car today) and my sister still has her 80 Z-28 that she bought brand new. I am looking forward to checking out the new Camaro in a few months.
