JonL,
Is the system going to be mainly used for music? If so, then I can see justification in the 5Ts for the surrounds. If mainly for movies, I think you'd be better off with bookshelves or, better yet - if you can place them to the sides of your primary viewing position - 5DBs.
If you stick with the towers, I don't ...

I heard that Discovery HD will be broadcasting the World Rally Championship in HD. That should be awesome in HD.

glassetcher,
We don't currently have an open box 5C in either color. However, our open box stock changes almost daily - certainly a couple times a week. So I would call or chat with us to see what we have.

Jason,
Couldn't have put it better myself. Spot on.
One additional thing to note is that the 6T's are a rather large speaker too. There's not a huge difference in the height and width from the 5T. However, the 6T is about twice the depth of the 5T. So you need more floorspace for the 6T too.

I actually have the BDP-83 and using it with, of course, Aperions. Let me just say that all the glowing reviews of it are accurate. It's a fantastic Blu-ray player.
I blogged about it about two months ago or so when I first got it: http://aperionaudio.typepad.com/

I think using in-ceiling speakers for your side surrounds will be fine. In my house that I just sold, we were using a 5.1 setup with in-ceilings as our surrounds and they performed great - they were even pretty good with music too. And our situation was very similar - we have a large window behind the couch that we didn't ...

Hi glassetcher and welcome to the forum.
The 4BP will provide a more diffuse sound field than the 4B would. This will create a more immersive soundstage for movies when used as surrounds. The 4B's work well for surrounds too, but the 4BP will give you a more immersive effect due to it's three sides. You could also go ...

Matt,
You lose a little bit in going with in-ceilings over bookshelves - cabinet speakers will sound better. But the difference, especially as surrounds, is not going to be a lot. In my old house, I was using in-ceilings for my surrounds and they sounded great both in movie mode and when I listened to music in all-channel stereo on ...
