Hi,
I was always happy with my 533-Vac's performance and never felt like it came up short for me on any programming so, when I read your post, I pulled it upstairs and did a head to head comparison between it and the 5C already in place. I used last night's episode of House to compare Hugh Laurie's voice on both speakers. For ...

All that and a bag of popcorn.
I would just add that, though a sweet movie demo (especially for your sub) I think Master and Commander is one of the less intelligible movies in terms of dialogue. We (mostly me, really) use one of the battle scenes as a demo clip and I'm always surprised at how low the center channel is mixed.
Though it ...

Hey All,
Great news: Our latest shipment of 4T, Bravus 8D and some 4C speakers has arrived! We'll need to do the usual quality assurance checks and what-not, but should be shipping this weekend.
If you've been eye-balling the 4Ts or a system that uses the 8D, I would recommend placing your order sooner than later to ensure you ...

My pleasure. Also, be sure to check out Music Giants Their selection is quite a bit better. Check out their SUPERHD section, where you can get b oth 2.0 and 5.1 mixes of some pretty popular albums from Beck to Thelonius Monk to Norah freakin' Jones.
I stumbled on this during a search, too:
Linn Records ...

Hey Ya'll,
Thought I would jump in here.
SACD has been, IMHO, dying since it came out. To be sure it's been slowly fizzling out for the last 4 years. It is certainly higher quality than standard CD and, as you noted JonL, is capable of Multichannel (thought SACDs often come in stereo mixes only)
Fry's is my local ...

Hey JonL,
Congrats on your center channel! Let us know what you think when you've had some time to spend with it.
A word of warning: Please be careful when deboxing and moving your center channel around. You've probably noticed that it is heavy and if you were to, say, drop it you could damage the center channel AND injur ...

Hey Dale!
Thanks for your post! If you don't mind, can you tell us what receiver you are using with this system that has made you so happy? I think it really helps our forum members make receiver purchasing decisions as they are reviewing their options. Thanks!
