I have not heard this particular soundtrack, but I do have a favorite album from James. It is available on amazon, but is quite pricy. However, it never was an easy find and was always expensive. This is the CD I always used in my car stereo install days to test out systems. It was also the one I took around from shop to shop when I was in ...

Olias of Sunhillow: Funny you should mention it -- I just picked up the ABWH DVD a few weeks ago! I've not watched it yet, but you've inspired me to make it the first DVD I pop in once I get the 5B/6B and Oppo BDP-83 combination up and running.
I grew up in Philadelphia, where YES is practically a religion, and I remember the incredible ...

Once set up, you should get the Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe DVD. It is by far my favorite. I have Songs of Tsongas and the Blu Ray of Montreau, but they don't quite measure up to the first. Yes, you might miss Chris Squire, but Jeff Berlin does a great job of standing in (for Tony Levin). Plus, Yes has slowed down quite a bit in tempo ...

Congrats PJ....I live in California now, but was born and raised in Chicago. Moved to Cali in 1996, after 31 years in Chi Town.
Where is this new condo located? If I recall correctly, you are currently in the downtown area? Gold Coast maybe?

Regardless of what you choose, YES music will sound fantastic. I love your screen name!
One question to ask...how do you plan to have the speakers placed (on wall, on stands, in cubbies)? If they are not in the open, how much breathing room will you have behind them?

If price is not an issue, go with the 4T. A tower will always outperform a bookshelf. I had to do bookshelf do to WAF. And that is the ONLY reason. I would have loved me some towers. With that said, I do love my 4 5B, 5C and 12D. I am so sure that the 12D is the main reason I don't miss having towers.

You do know that you can audition them in your home, with your equipment, for 30 days, no risk? Even if you find someone letting you audition them, they will sound different in your home with your amp. In the event you don't like them (not likely, but still), they pay to have them shipped back.
You should take Aperion up on that ...

A component video cable is just a set of RCA cables (albeit, a set of three of them). Use the RCA. Odds are, you won't even hear a difference, unless you are using crappy cables. If you use the component, just plug the same color from the amp to the sub (you only need one single RCA). You only need to plug it into the LFE input on the sub ...

It would work, but I would strongly consider going with the 5C. The benefits to your HT will thank you! All Aperions are timbre matched, so you can mix and match.
