Jason Hicks: The really big upgrade with this next generation is Pro Logic IIz with support for height channels.
I'm pretty curious to hear it for myself and see how much of a difference it makes.
Jason, did you ever get a chance to hear how the Height Channels added to the experience?

Well, after about 6 months of speaker research (and saving up to buy them) I finally pulled the trigger the other day on a pair of 6Ts & 5C in high gloss black. Tried to get them in time for my birthday next weekend but the 6Ts are out of stock for a few days. Bah! Can't wait to get them! I am super excited!
Thanks to everyone, ...

Jay, that great to hear of your success! Things for explaining what you did with all of the settings. Really very helpful! I'll keep that in mind whenever I am able to swing that 12D.

So, with that in mind, since I am also looking at the 12D, I will ...

I went home last night and checked the speaker wire for my HTiB and interestingly enough on the wire itself it lists it as 22 gauge.
So, I take it, that won't get it done with the 6Ts, and I should probably get some 14 gauge eh?
-
Jason, do you personally recommend using a y adapter, is it to each their own?
-
Thanks to everyone for their input. I am not even sure if I could tell what gauge my speaker wire is. But chances are it's pretty stock. It's pretty thin. But now I know what to look for in terms of speakerwire (12 or 14 gauge) so I probably will upgrade.
Again, thanks for the help!! :)
