I got it in the mail from Netflix today on DVD (don't have a Blu-Ray player yet ), but it will be my first time watching it.

Definitely have to go with Red Sonja, probably Arnold's worst flick. There weren't enough beers in my fridge to save this movie...

Its also worth mentioning Gears of War 2 in this discussion. By far, it takes advantage of my subwoofer more than any other game I own, and all the weapons/explosions punch very hard...

08-02-2009 Finally updated with the 4T's. I believe I'm going to upgrade the 4C to the 5C, but will otherwise keep this setup intact. Room is still too small for a 7.1 setup. Hopefully in the near future, I'll finally get a Blu-Ray player, perhaps the Oppo BDP-83, and a tv that won't look puny on the stand ...

With that large of a room, I suppose the 6C would be a good fit, although I can't help but think you may need a more powerful receiver... I have the same receiver as you, but a 4T Hybrid SD hooked up in a traditional 5.1 setup in a 13.5 by 16 foot room instead. How do you like the height channels? My room is too shallow for a ...

I agree w/ Browning about the bass... many of the shows on that network seem to have a tremendous amount of constant bass going on. Spike TV has very good picture quality for new UFC stuff, as well as The Deadliest Warrior show, but Dolby Digital is few and far between on that network so its not all perfect. If your budget allows, I'd recommend checking out www.standoutdesigns.com. They have a couple different models that would fit your needs, and they even sell back extenders for the component portions of the stands in the event that your receiver is too deep... all solid wood and made in USA
