sorry about that post, I had been out drinking a bit.
Yeah, I took Apple TV back because of the software issues and got the Airport base that you plug into the wall and connected it via mini digital to toslink to my 805.

So this is what happened. Got the Apple TV. Sound quality is top notch using HDMI(not having heard the Airtunes, i had nothing to compare it to). Used the Youtube function extensively. Great piece of tech. Problem was it didn't recognize the movies i had on my iTunes library, spent 45 min on Apple Care to find out it needed to go back to the ...

I have 14 days to return it and Im on Vacation this week.

What if I were to buy a Mini Display port to HDMI adapter? Does that transfer music or is sthat only for video? (I have a MacBook)

Jason, The Apple TV takes the away the need for an ipod/iPhone from what I hear. It stores all the music on its 40gb or 160gb hardrive and trnsfers that via HDMI. All you need is an iTunes account...... The HDMI is the big draw for me.

I THINK, unless i hear something bad about he Apple TV, that i will be buying an Apple TV and bypassing the iPhone all together and get the music striaght from my iTunes library. But I am concerned that the new iPhone, when i buy it on June 19th, wont be able to transfer the new video recording feature via the Apple TV ...
