Jason Hicks:Let me see if I can get those for you, it may take me a couple days though.
What with all my family crowding the home, I'm extra patient!
Thanks!

deuce1973:NYC AV, I am looking at getting a pair of 6Ts, 5C and eventually a 12D. I look forward to hearing more of your opinions of the 6T+12D combination. Particularly the 12D. I haven't read too many reviews on it. It looks to be a great musical sub because of the sealed enclosure. I like hearing your comments on "feeling" the ...

Hello all,
I ran the Audyssey set up (per the AVS Forum guide) on my Denon AVR-3808ci today and had a few questions.
First, I had the 5DBs set in "Movie" mode (switch down), where I think the two sides are in phase. Audyssey would complain that they were mis-wired each time, and also would set the two levels equally (+3.5db) despite ...

Hi all,
Does anyone have any hex IR codes for the Bravus 12D for "on," "mute" and "auto" please? They're the three modes that the power button rotates through, but I'd like to have buttons that go to them directly.
Thanks!

Well, I've been waiting to see my new niece so I figured I'd practice taking pictures...
I have a 6T-DB Hybrid now set up. The amazing thing is that the 6C is a perfect fit for the BDI Avion furniture I had.
And, I took a few pictures to show, but alas, it is telling me the maximum size is 100k. My pictures (after cropping) are all ...

PJ:If you want the 5B setup, go with the receiver, 2 5B's and the 12D to start with (2.1) setup. Then add a center. Then the surrounds.
As someone who doesn't have a center speaker at all (yet), I would say add the center last. My receiver mixes the center into the left/right perfectly fine and I have not missed it. On the ...

Just note that the 1 year upgrade credit thing apparently doesn't apply to the subwoofers, so you should buy as big as you think you'll ever need... I know that convinced me to try to find a way to afford the 12D over the 8D.

Oh, you shouldn't have mentioned the velvet! That was such a shock and a pleasure when I first opened the 6T box (which was not trivial to do, solo).
:)

I wish I could help you out, but I'm not sufficiently knowledgeable about all the choices.
I will say that I think you should get a bigger subwoofer, if you want to feel things kick. I got the 8D and decided I wanted to try a bigger one almost immediately. On the other hand, if you want to let your son sleep... You might have to turn it off ...

Next time do FedEx "first" shipping. The cost on that for half a dozen heavy boxes can't be much more than... $1,000... :)
At least I get to take full advantage of their example "To NYC" free shipping rates!
