  • 422-LR versus 422-C

I am replacing my larger PSB bookshelfs (B25) and center speaker (C40) with something more amenable to room size (12x12x8) and arrangement.  Basically I need to put things on the wall and current speakers are too heavy.  I have 533-T in my 2 channel, and really like them, so am considering the 422 series speakers for the front ...

  • RE: Speaker Upgrade

Since you like music, want good sound, and don't want to break the bank, start out with the 532s. Add the 534-VAC and a pair of 422s (for the surrounds) down the road. If you budget permits, and your receiver has enough power, try out the 632s (and add the 634 later on).

  • Upgrading to 532LRs...is it worth it?

I've had the 422/S8 system for about 2 years now and have been extremely impressed with the quality of sound for home theater but I'm wanting to use them more for music now and I've always felt the low midrange (80Hz - 150Hz) on this system feels a little empty.  I'm considering upgrading to the 532s on the front cos I'm sure this will ...

  • Room Size / Speaker Choice

I am planning on buying a set of Aperions for my family room and I wanted to get feadback on speaker choice. The speakers will be used for movies / music - 60/40. I have read great things about the 422-LR and 532-LR speakers. The general consensus seams to be that the 532-LR are better if you want fuller sound when listening to music as the 422's ...

  • New 422-LRs. Great image, will warmth improve?

Hello all. I just installed a new pair of 422-LRs as my front pair in my home theater setup. The remainder of the system is a middle of the line best buy purchased system. I'm in the process of upgrading on a per-set basis as my budget allows. First off, let me say I am VERY impressed with the packaging, build quality, and overall solid feel of ...

  • Mixing Aperion Speakers.

  • Got a Beta C360, Then I found Aperion.

Ever since I bought a projector I've been on a quest to upgrade my HTIB.  Last week I was settled on the Infinity Beta series.  So, I went out and made my first speaker purchase, the Beta C360 Center. I really like it. But that was last week, and this is... now.  I was running around a few home theater websites and ...

  • Speaker level adjustemnts

I am curious if there is any recommendation as to wether it is preferrable to attenuate the levels or is it better to bump up the levels to achieve uniform speaker SPL response. Or it doesnt matter ? For instance i have 532 LRs in the front and 422LR at the side/back. The 532s are clearly louder at the same volume setting than the 422s. I was ...

  • B&W 603s ....

Hi all, I orderd the 422's just to see how the sound was and I have to say, I am impressed. The sound they produced for their size is truly impressive! The problem is they are just not a full range speaker and that is what I truly need. I ordered the 8-APR sub and was not impressed with it as it could not even keep up with 2 ...

  • Whats the deal with the long speaker back order?

I've been waiting for some time to receive my 422 L/R surround sound speakers.  Aperion, you're killing me here.  What's the status on these speakers?  Why is it taking so long for you to get these speakers?
