  • Decisions Decisions for a loyal Aperion owner!!! ..... 533-PTs or 633-Ts

I've been an Aperion audio owner for a good while now.  I have a 7.1 setup (currently running 5.1) with the 533-PTs anchoring the LF and RF positions, 634-VAC pulling center channel duty, 533-SS pulling SR/SL duty, and S-10 completing the army.  The 532-LRs were the SBL and SBR channels, but I had to put them to bed temporarily when I ...

  • Going back to 2-channel???

Man, I am seriously consideing going to 2-channel, even in my HT.  I have the lucky privelage of having a dedicated 2-channel system in it's own room.  I also have a small LR system as well, but I think deep down inside I am really just a 2-channel guy - plain and simple. Just having purchased my Sammy 42'' DLP, having rounded out the ...

  • Anyone heard Gallo Reference IIIs ?

I've still got a week left on my Aperion trial and several times I've nearly ordered a used pair of Reference III's, only way to afford them. Just this last couple days amazingly I found a used pair in my town, what are the odds? But it was listed 4 days earlier and when I tried to contact the seller he had sold and shipped them that day, so I ...

  • Width between tower and bookshelf version of 632s a bit odd.

On the 633-T, it says it's 10-1/8'' wide, understandable having those 6.5inch woofers. Though, the 632-LR with the same 6.5'' woofer shows 7-7/8'' wide. But by all accounts after comparing photos and checking the width of the wood to the sides of the woofers they should be the same overall width. If anything the 632-LR looks wider than the tower. ...

  • Which way to go? Need help

I was in the market for a new subwoofer, but now have moved onto the possiblitly of getting some new front speakers on top of that. The 533-PT seemed like a pefect choice with the built in subwoofers to solve both my problems. Though I might listen to music more than movies, so then the 633-T seems like the better choice for that, then an ...
