  • Re: Intimus 5T?

In response to Stretch:  Thanks for your interest in the new 5T. We have put a lot of love into this fine speaker and are very proud of the result. Despite the difference in the photos, the ports actually have the same internal diameter (50mm). However, the 533-T port has more "flair" than the new 5T - so it looks a little ...

  • Audioholics raves about the Intimus 533 Concert HD System

Here's some more great press on the 533-T's from J. Walker Clarke Jr. of Audioholics.com  "I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the Intimus Concert 533 HD system.  It displayed an authentic musical quality whenever I listened to music, both stereo and 5.1 sources... If you are a music-first type of person, this would be a ...

  • which center for the 533t's?

So I'm building a home theater and decided on Aperion.  I hope they look as good in real life! Anyway, I have a small room (approx 1500cf) and I think I want the 533T.  It was tough not choosing the 633s, but for some reason, I think the 533s will sound better from reviews and stuff.  Maybe I'm way wrong but what can I ...

  • 533-T's Win a Goodsound.com Great Buy Award!

The accolades keep rolling in for the 533-T's. Stereophile put them on their recommended list and now they have been bestowed with a Great Buy Award from Goodsound.com. Here's what Jeff Stockton had to say about these little beauties..."Their uncolored sound and talent for imaging are rarely found at this price. Their ...

  • Pulled the trigger

Well....I pulled the trigger...dropped the hammer...whatever I tried out the 533-PTs for a month but while they are very nice speakers I just couldn't get the HT rumble I wanted and there appears to be a slight dropoff at about 100hz that I noticed on some of the music I like.  Overall, I'd rate this pair as a 9 on the music ...

  • 533-T Featured in Sterophile

The much anticipated 533-T Sterophile review has finally hit the street. Subscribers should have their April issue by now and the rest of you can run out and pick it up on the news stand. There is a ton of really good technical analysis in the article so I would encourage you to pick up a copy. Here are a few of the shorter, non-technical quotes ...

  • Congratulations on April Stereophile Review

Aperion, Congratulations on the review of the 533-T in the April issue of Stereophile. It must be exciting as a company to be featured in a magazine held in such high regard within the audio community. Even though I have already purchased a number of speakers from Aperion and very pleased with the products (as indicated in my many forum ...
  • Question about my setup...

I just bought a HDTV and a THX receiver (Pioneer), and now need to upgrade my speakers to complete my 5.1 system. I will need a good movie system obviously, but to be honest I primarily listen to music... and the den is about 15' X 15'. I was looking at a 533VAC for center, 533 Towers for the L/R channels and using my Infinity bookshelf ...

  • Spread the word!

I read Ben's recent post, ''Organic Evangelism?'' and something struck me.  Everyone raves about their speakers but we all do it here in the forum.  I just received my 5.1 system consisting of the 533's, 533 vac, 534's and the s-10, granted I haven't set them up yet due to a shipping error,  but that is swiftly being taken care ...
