  • Aperion Audio receives the "Certified and Recommended" award from Sound and Vision Magazine!

Sound and Vision Magazine recently put our 633 Cinema XD System through a cinematic and musical obstacle-course and it came out shining. “For movie playback, I give the Series 6 a big thumbs-up: These speakers can really sizzle, kick and punch on demanding soundtracks. And I was quite pleased with the system’s prowess with ...

  • Pulled the trigger

Well....I pulled the trigger...dropped the hammer...whatever I tried out the 533-PTs for a month but while they are very nice speakers I just couldn't get the HT rumble I wanted and there appears to be a slight dropoff at about 100hz that I noticed on some of the music I like.  Overall, I'd rate this pair as a 9 on the music ...

  • RE: New Speakers

Congratulations! I have a similar set up (632LR's for fronts, 533VAC center, and 532LR's for surrounds, S10 for sub, 522's for presence--piano black) running on a Yamaha 2700. Have been listening to music most of the day and I am listening to a live Santana CD right now--the Aperion's sound great. I don't think I've enjoyed my CD collection this ...

  • What I was missing

My old system consisted of 2 Bose AM7's, front center and surround about 12 years old. I bought the Bose because they were visually invisible. Unfortunately so was the sound. I was never to happy with Bose bass output, so after a lot of research I purchased the S-10 sub from Aperion. I did not know what I was missing. I had to anchor all wall ...

  • 2007 Resolutions

Hey Guys, I got my system together and it sounds great!!! 2-633T, 1-634VAC,1-S10,2-534SS. I ended up putting the 534SS speakers on the L/R sides of my back wall as dipoles. However, I have room for 1 more 534SS speaker on my back wall in the center. I would like to know if this is a good idea for Aperion for 2007? Extra Info: HDMI ...

  • Bipole/Dipole positioning

Ok, I finally have my speakers and now I need to place them. I have 2 of the 534SS for rear sound and my seating is about 16 feet away in the center of the room. One problem, now I need to mount the 534SS in the rear of the room but towards the corner of the room. Should I put them in the actual corner and angle them towards the listening ...

  • Speaker Set-up Question

I am pleased to say that I have just recieved my new system.  Beautiful speakers.  But before I actually can enjoy it, I guess I need to set it up first - unless I just want to use them as artwork, which they could pass for.  Anyway, on to business.  I purchased a 7.1 channel system.  The question I have is regarding the ...

  • Decisions Decisions for a loyal Aperion owner!!! ..... 533-PTs or 633-Ts

I've been an Aperion audio owner for a good while now.  I have a 7.1 setup (currently running 5.1) with the 533-PTs anchoring the LF and RF positions, 634-VAC pulling center channel duty, 533-SS pulling SR/SL duty, and S-10 completing the army.  The 532-LRs were the SBL and SBR channels, but I had to put them to bed temporarily when I ...

  • 632 or 534?????

I currently have the 534's set as my surrounds in a 5.1 setup but I am in the midst of moving and the room that my system will be in is going to present some positioning issues.  wall mounting them side by side will not be possible and mounting them in the back will be to far......so my question is, should I be looking into the 632's for my ...
  • Great Customer Service... Again

Hello All, I know there are many examples of Aperion's great customer service scattered throughout the forum, but I thought I'd throw out another. My 534-ss speakers arrived last week (early), but one of them was without its pair of speaker grills.  This was certainly annoying but soon realized considering the reputation Aperion has built ...
