  • Re: 534-SS Ceiling Mount

The Omni 20.0 will work for mounting most of our speakers. However, if you purchase them locally, they will come with two 1/2" bolts instead of the 3/4" bolts we recommend. If you'd like to purchase the Omni 20 and your local store, head down to the hardware store and get two quater-twenty 3/4" bolts per mount. Or, you can order ...

  • 534-SS Ceiling Mount

I purchased an OmniMount 20.5 CA system to mount this speaker (since the description says it works with OmniMount and B-Tech mounts) but the holes on the back of the speaker are too narrow. Any tips on what mounts WILL work with this speaker since the ones advertised to work don't? thanks,

  • OmniMount 20.0 Issues

The OmniMount 20.0 ceiling mounts can be quite troublesome when hanging the 532LR speakers.  The bolt used for tightening the clamp assembly must be tightened to very high degree.  This was recommended by Ben Fowler, Aperion's home theater guru.  Ben recommended using a pair of pliers on the ...

  • omnimount 20.0 installation

I'm mounting a pair of the 532 bookshelf speakers to my wall using these mounts.  I've been unable to keep the speaker positioned so the bottom of the speaker is parralel to the floor.  The speaker always ends up in a position that is pointed too far downward.  Can someone tell me how you were able to use this mount to get your ...

  • Wall mounting over single gang electical boxes

I just moved into a new home and the family room is pre-wired for surround sound.  Problem is the installer ran the wire to single gange elecrtical boxes now covered with blank wall plates.  I'd like to use the Omnimount 20.0 wall mount and connect it to a wall plate that covers the electrical box for a cleaner installation.  Is ...

  • 522D-LR on bracket--OK?

Anybody running a 522D-LR on a B-Tech BT77, Omnimount 20.0 Wall or similar? Since the 522 is a rear-ported design I worry about possible effect of mounting on the wall (although in my planned use it would probably be angled inward). I also assume the 522 has connectivity on the back for bracket use? Any preferences on B-Tech vs. Omnimount?

  • Wall mounts: OMW20 vs BT-77

We currently offer 2 solutions for wall mounting the Aperion Audio 522D speaker.  The OMW20 is a smaller more discrete mount that attaches to threaded inserts in the back of the speaker.  It is attached to the wall with 2 screws that can go into studs or mollys.  With the BT-77, the speaker sets on a platform, then is held into ...
  • 522D-VAC mounting

I am contemplating wall mounting the VAC center channel above my tv.  With the VAC weighing in at 20 lbs., is the OmniMount 20.0 model sufficient to support that weight since 20 lbs. is it's maxium capacity?  Or would it be prudent to go with the beefier OmniMount 30 just to be on the safe side?  I'd hate for the VAC ...
