I have mine installed and they sound great matched up with Forte fronts and Center. Next thing might be upgrading to Grand.

Thanks for the feedback and detailed write up Miles.
It sounds like most of the issues are related to using banana plugs with the Verus Surrounds and they really aren't designed to accept them when wall mounted.
However it is strange that the binding posts aren't either in the same spot or mirrored, I had not noticed that myself.
The previous version the 5DB did have L and R designations on the barcode skus, so I don't see why we couldn't do that again.
I will definitely forward your comments to our product development and ops teams and suggest that we do a running changes for the next production run.
I'm not so sure how well the Verus Surrounds will sound in a wall like that, but from our previous interactions it sounds like you have done plenty of research.
