What is the preferred way to Clean off dust, etc. from the Driver cones and ASR Tweeter?
I know all driver motors with their large magnetic fields love to collect airborne dust particles over time.
Thanks,
Dennis

Hey Dennis,
There are a couple ways to clean them or free them of dust. One would be to use something soft like a feather duster or even one of those Swiffer Dusters. Another option would be to use the can air for cleaning computers. I would be very careful about getting too close to the tweeter with the pressure behind the canned air. Hope this helps.

Hi Matt,
Hey that was my idea, you just wrote it up first… hahahaha.. [;)]
With the compressed air .. I would only use that if one could find a diffuser nozzle for the can, not a localized pt. source cylindrical nozzle, as it then would impose to large a magnitude of force on a small area, not good idea. (P=F/A).
Now, one could also use as Oliver suggested a Micro Fiber clean cloth — very lightly displacing the dust.
Cheers,
Dennis

I would not worry about the dust on the tweeter unless it is server. Dust is very light and should not be a problem. Be very careful with canned air or you might end up with an Asymmetrical Stabilized Concave Tweeter! I suggest trying to blow the dust off the tweeter with your mouth first.
Cheers
