The new onkyo is just to large for my current unit. It demesions are h 8" w 17.5" d 20"
It's a 55lb beast.
Along with it will be Dish 922 box Samsung blue ray, sony 5 disk sacd. hexbox360
In the future, there will be outlaw 978, and outlaw 7500
As for budget, well the right piece and i would not be concerned. The reason why i don't want a rack is i have no with to re-cable everything again.

Hello,
I had the same issue. Onkyo TX-NR808 was a monster and couldn't fit in my stand so this is what I found… http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod3040201&navAction=push. This stand looks very nice (IMHO) and everything fits. In addition to the Onkyo, It is home to an Emotiva XPA-3, a Sony 400 disc DVD changer, a DVD recorder, and a blu-ray player with room to spare. I have my VGC on the top shelf just below the screen. I hope this helps you out.

Sounds like solid advice to me, thanks for posting!

Great suggestion! Looking at your picture, is there something under the TV to place the TV higher so the VGC won't block the TV?
