Hi,
I currently have the following setup for my home theatre ( 6:1)
Front L/R : Intimus 633-T Tower
Center Channel : Intimus 634-VAC Center Channel Speaker
Sub : Intimus S-12, 12" Powered Subwoofer
Surround: 3 of the Intimus 534-SS Dipole-Bipole Surround Speaker
I am moving into a new home and the basement size is 13 X20..Also, it includes pre wiring for 7:1 speaker..Since the 534-SS Dipole-Bipole Surround Speaker has been discontinued, I was planning to buy either the Intimus 5B Bookshelf Speaker or Intimus L6-IW In-Wall speaker and put them in rear wall and use the existing 2 Intimus 534-SS Dipole-Bipole on the side wall .. Any recommendation as to which one will be better choice..I would prefer going with In Wall since dry walls are not up yet..Look forward to hearing from you
Thanks
Venkat

Hello Venkat,
For rear surround use there won't be a huge difference between the 6-IW and the 5B, a little more of a 3D realistic soundstage with the 5B but for that application they will be pretty comparable.
A third option springs to my mind which is the 4BP which can provide a better surround effect because the two tweeters give you a broader sound field than a monopole speaker, they actually sound pretty similar to the 534-SS in the bipole mode.
In any event you can get great results with any of the three choices but if it were me I think I would go for the 4BP.
I hope that helps!
