I got my system all set up and hooked up to a 32" lcd for now until my 58" plasma arrives. My system sounds awesome but I think I am not getting all the sound that I need. I read on here before how people's 10D sub would make you feel the music and I am not getting that effect. I don't know the first thing about how to fix it and all the tech talk so bear with me. My nephew helped me and he is about as lost as I am, hooking everything up was easy but fine tuning it is the problem. Ok here goes, I have my 5t's, 5c set,sub at 80hz and my 4b satelite speakers at 100hz. The sub is set at -10. What do I need to do to get that bone shaking bass? I want bass but not to overpower the rest of the sounds. I have it hooked to an Onkyo 607. Also, what is the best setting to have your system set too? all speakers set 5.1 or the theater dimensional, or the many other settings they have. |

In the AVR set the sub volume to the same as the mains, then adjust the the sub volume on the sub itself. Cheers |

Yeah, -10 is definitely too low, if you follow Russ' suggestion you should get a better amount of output out of the sub. |
