Does Aperion offer plugs for their rear ported models for users who can't place their speakers far enough away from the rear walls or in entertainment cabinets?
Wondering how they would perform with plugs especially when they are usually x-over at 80Hz or higher (for smaller bookshelves anyway) by their AVR setup routines.
Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the forum,
We don't sell plugs, but you don't really need anything fancy to do the job, any soft cloth or a sock will work just fine. Or you could cut some foam to their size too.
I hope that helps!

Hi Jason,
What technical differences would be heard w/ Port Plugs installed vs. no plugs as shipped on the VGT's?
Does the lower end get congested with Port Plugs installed, and a higher THD+N occuring at the lower freqs.?

It basically just reduces the speaker's bass response.
I know you love graphs so I had our speaker engineer whip some up for you, enjoy! [8-|]

Jason,
Thanks for the very nice plots, tell your Engr. there we all appreciate them. [H]
Am going to keep running them, w/ No Plugs. Have them Xover'd at 80Hz. to the dual subs.
Cheers,
Dennis
