Hi all:
I have an aperion 6 system (6t, 6c, 6sw, 4t as surrounds, 4 shelves as back surrounds) hooked with a SC-25 pioneer receiver, the problem is when I tried to use the auto setup from MACACC, it says my center 6C channel is out of phase and the polarity is reversed…!, I tried reversing the wires in my center 6C, and I ran again MACACC, this time it passed, it says its OK… so I was wondering if maybe this is an intentional aperion out of phase design or maybe my speaker came reversed from factory, or maybe my receiver has any internal factory defect…(perhaps wires internally are wired wrong), or maybe the MACACC auto diagnostic setup software has any bug…
I have read some users having same problem but with AUDISSEY software and DENON or ONKYO receiver, but this is the first time hearing this with pioneer receivers…
Please shed some light… should I leave my 6C untouched or perhaps trust MACACC and reverse wiring in my 6C..

I've never heard of it happening with MCACC either, but since it is a known issue with Audyssey I think it's probably the MCACC and not the 6C

But no, it is not intentionally wired out of phase.
If it does turn out to be the speaker just give us a call and we'll take care of it.

I have checked with the pop out method, and the 6C is wired fine… so maybe its a macacc bug or something or maybe my pioneer sc25 receiver was internally wired wrong….
My questions are.
1. Is there any way to figure if the pioneer receiver was wired wrong (soldered internally wrong)..?
2. How could I figure if this macacc has any glitch or bug that could be sending the wrong diagnostic setup…
Should I leave it untouched and just ignore this macacc auto setup…?

If the speaker is fine then I am 99.9% certain that it's an MCACC error.
What I would do is listen to the speaker hooked up both ways. Usually a speaker that is hooked up out of phase will sound tinny. So if it sounds like some freqs are missing when it hooked up out of phase, then it's definitely the MCACC and I wouldn't worry about it.
