Room is large, around 32 x 17, 15 foot ceilings. We sit approx 11-12 from main speakers, 5Bs 5 feet behind us. I don't need networking, sound quality is most important. Thanks

Ok if you don't need 3D or networking capabilities there are some great deals going on right now for some of last year's models.
Specifically you can get the Onkyo 807 or the Denon 3310 for about $700-$750.
Or if you wanted to step up to something with a bit beefier of an amp section with independent power supplies you can get the Onkyo 3007 for about $1000 right now.

Tks Jason, curious about a review recently from hometheaterhifi.com regarding 3310, stated only use that receiver with 8ohm speakers. Is this a concern since mine are all 6ohm? Tks

I'm surprised they would say that because that's not true, the Denon 3310 is easily 6 ohm stable, as is the 2310.

I have a Denon 3808CI and it runs just fine with my Aperion speakers.
