Hi,
I have to use the OmniMount 30.0 for my 5C to mount it above my entertainment center and point it downwards. I have the assembly bracket attached to the wall already.
However, I'm just really apprehensive about drilling into the back of the speaker because the clamp assembly has 4 screws that needs to attach to the back. However, none of the holes line up with the threaded holes that the 5Cs were manufactured with.
Won't drilling into the back cause wood dust to be all inside the speaker? Also I'm scared to open the speaker up, let alone drill holes into it!
Can someone walk me through this if you've done it?
Please advise,
Thank you!

Hmmm, yeah I wouldn't recommend drilling into the back of the 5C myself. So it doesn't look like the Omni 30 is compatible with our speakers, sorry about that.
The omni 20, while only rated at 20 lbs, will still hold the 22 lb. 5C as they rate those mounts conservatively to limit their liability.
However, if you aren't comfortable using that, give me a call. I have an open box mount that is rated at 33 lbs and I'll be happy to sell it to you for cheap.
Hope that helps!

Does the 20.0 have just 2 screws for the clamp assembly?
- unfortunately, I've already drilled into the wall the bracket for the 30.0… however, if the pivot ball is the same size, I'd only need the part that attaches to the speaker itself.
- Also what open box mount do you have?

It doesn't look to me like you can use the same adapter that attaches to the speaker for both mounts.
The two mounts are somewhat reversed with respect to their configuration. For the 30 the bolt that comes out of the ball attaches to the wall and for the 20 that bolt attaches to the speaker.

The open box mount I have is the BT38, here's a picture of it in silver, but the one I have is black.

Thanks Jason for the response.
BT38 was what I was looking for, but it was hard to find it in stock, I went ahead and had to use the 30.0 since it was already mounted on my wall.
The clamp assembly was relatively easy, the hardest part was having someone hold the 5C while I tightened it on the Pivot Ball.
All in all it looks pretty good.
Thanks,
