Setup looks sweet PJ, Love the windows and the industrial concrete pillar. I know what you mean about the concrete ceilings, my condo is the same, and installing new fixtures was a pain. Same goes for the windows, the reflection is a pain, but you can't beat the view or natural sunlight you get.
As for your cabling issue, since you are getting a new sofa have you thought about an L shaped sectional? Your couch is already close to one of the windows, this way you could use some cable management to run it along the window sill under the couch, and then pop up from behind the couch.
Either way looks great, and congrats on the new home.

Prerak: The problem with a sectional, is that I have an island in the kitchen on one side (kitchen/living room is in a "great room" config), and the door to the balcony on the other. I would have to choose which one of those to cut off. Otherwise, yes. LOL
Now that the system is all set up, I'm going to get the rest of the house unpacked before I worry about it too much.

So how does the 6Ts sound compared to the 5Bs. I should think there would be a bit of difference!

Russ: Major difference, though I haven't really done much critical (or high-volume) listening. Just a movie or two and TV. I'm one of those guys that, if I don't unpack everything right away, I will live out of boxes forever. So that's been my focus. [8-|]

Definitely a nice setup, PJ. In addition to the 6Ts and 6C, I see you also got an XPA-2 to go along with your XPA-3. Did you pick up the 2 during Emotiva's holiday sale? As in your apartment, your setup is amazingly clean and organized (which is scary, considering how you haven't even finished unpacking yet). Congrats on the new digs and the new gear.

nbuchen, to answer your question…I was going to buy an XPA-2 during the holiday sale, but came across one used on their forum, and jumped on that.
And, it's dirtier than it looks. I'm very careful with how I take my pictures. [;)] I am excited to finally get done, though (hopefully this weekend), and be able to really clean it. The filth that comes from moving in is just gross.

I noticed in your pictures that you have your 6Ts slightly angled in toward the center. I have 4Ts and was wondering if this is highly recommended. Will this create a better sound stage for movies? for music?

Indeed I do.
I did the same thing with my previous setup (with 5Bs in the front). Now, I personally watch most of my movies alone or with one other person, so it creates a great sound stage for one or two people. If you have a family or group of people over, it's gonna be more focused of a sweet spot than if you aim them straight out, making it less sweet for the group as a whole.
The process is called "toe in." Experimentation is going to be your best bet in finding out the best for your situation and room.

I really wished the Salamander Synergy furniture didn't cost so much once you start throwing in side panels and glass doors. I have to say though that of some of the many a/v furniture pieces I've seen it it is one of the nicest open designs.

I have been really impressed with that furniture. I had heard some really good things, but didn't realize how great it was until it arrived. It's gonna be tough to ever go back to MDF-based stuff in my HT again. The two boxes it came in had to be strapped to a palette to ship. [:|] Easy construction, too!

I would definitely echo the sentiments already posted. In short, I think they sound great!
Definite improvement, and honestly, I would have upgraded for the smaller footprint alone. I don't think it's as easy to tell how much room the 6T's take up until you replace them with something with a far shallower cabinet. I feel like I've gained 10' of extra space in my room, while making no compromises in sound. Very happy with my decision to upgrade.
