This high performance home theater system is intended for medium to large rooms and uses four of our most popular speakers -- the 5B Bookshelves as the front and surround speakers. Then the 5C Center lends its astonishing center channel dialog to the mix, while the powerful Bravus 8D subwoofer rumbles its way through your entire DVD collection. A versatile and flexible option, all the speakers can be placed on shelves, stands or mounted on the walls or ceiling.

Excellent Sound Excellent Value Excellent QualityPosted on 10/19/2013 I waited until 100+ hours of break in to write this review. I absolutely love these speakers. This system has has exceeded my expectations. I purchased the Intimus setup on their farewell sale about 3 weeks ago on a tight budget. I just finished watching Pacific Rim Blu-Ray in DTS Master Audio with the Marantz SR5008 that Aperion also offers. Even my wife was blown away. We live in a medium sized apartment and the sound stage was the size of a 5 bedroom house. Epic all around. If you are deciding between these and the Versus line my 2 cents are you'll be happy either way it all just comes down to your budget. Aperion speakers are very high quality and you will not be disappointed. The 30-day in home trial and trade up program only sweeten the deal. My interactions with customer service have been exceptional as well. Stop reading and buy whatever you have in your cart right now!
First ever surround system and I love it :)Posted on 6/1/2012 Since I am not a professional with finely tuned ears to give a detailed analysis of the acoustic properties of these speakers, I will focus this review on my exhilarating experience with them.
I could not have asked for a better system for my new home theatre. Everything about it was perfect, from the presentation and finish to the sound. My DTS movies sounded so real my father jumped up and screamed "Earthquake!" during a battle scene.
To be honest, I was worried that these speakers wouldn't be able to fill my room because of its openness (It's connected to my kitchen) but the system managed to envelop me with blissful sound with only 4 bookshelf speakers and sub connected.
Aperion's care in detail really shines through with their finishing touches. I was pleasantly surprised when I found large velvet bags in the delivery boxes. Although I was disappointed when I realized they weren't giant bottles of Crown Royal, my disappointment was quickly dissipated the instant I took these babies out. The piano finish was perfect without a single fingerprint or defect. They looked so good I didn't want to touch them. The package even came with a free SPL meter for precise calibration of the system.
I'm glad my friend showed me Aperion Audio. If it were not for Aperion, I would have gone with the abysmal Bose which many ignorant consumers fall for.

Enjoy the Music Budget Speaker Shootout Review of the 5BPosted on 5/25/2012 "First impressions of the Intimus 5B is that they are extraordinarily well built, and boast a fit & finish that would not be out of place on speakers four times their price."
"...they delivered enough detail to be lively, but weren't so ruthlessly revealing as to spoil it. Vocals were excellent across the board on the Aperions as Natalie Merchant sounded great on Tigerlily, as did Brian Johnson on Back in Black. Electric guitars had plenty of grit and impact. The 5Bs can rock!"
