Where did THAT come from?

Me? Happy as a clam. My neighbors? Not so much. At least...that's what I assume. I can't hear them over the ass-kickery that this sucker provides. I'm not kidding you when I say that the first time I fired this thing up, my cat almost jumped out of 7 of her lives. I still have some fine-tuning to do, but this sub is outstanding.
I love how it sits there, all unassuming, all timid. And then when it plays ball, it just fills the room as effortlessly as you can imagine. It's not boomy...it's not in the way...it simply completes the experience just as you would like it to. A++
Impressed!!...

Aperion has captured my attention!
I've been looking at their products for some time. Wanting to eventually upgrade my old Definitive PF-15 for a couple of years now, I've always been a little hesitant. That was until I saw the Bravus 12D.
Right away, I knew it was one of those items I just had to have. I wasn't quite sure it would be up to par with what I already. Turns out I was wrong. So far it's been an excellent addition to my Triangle Celius based home theater system. It's more refined, but holds its own in the "thump" department to my old 15 incher.
This is top notch quality!! For a more mid-budget home theater set up, I'm well pleased with my purchase. The wood finish makes my rather expensive Triangle's plastic cladding look dull in comparison. The back hook up plate is simple and to the point. Both sets of feet for the sub are great (the rubber ones are pointed as well).
The only drawbacks I've noticed are the buttons on the front of the sub. They feel a little cut-rate. They don't really give you a great tactile sense of sturdiness. Little quibbles aside, the tiny, full function remote makes up for it. Its just cool!
Excellent form, Aperion.
From a first time buyer, I hope I can keep my home theater addiction at bay. But with a product like yours I'm not sure that's possible.
Keep up the quality and service! You'll have at least one customer for a very long time.
Boom!

I have to admit...buying a product at launch can be a bit scary. I also wondered how much bass, even with 2 12" in it, will I get from the small size. I had this on preorder, and the rest of my speakers were waiting for this bad boy to come in.
I have this running with 4 5Bs and a 5C. Onkyo 805 with x-over set at 80Hz.
The first movie to really give this set a test was Terminator 2 on BluRay. Each time I thought it would cave in from volume, it seemed to say "Is that all you got? Turn it up more!".
Hmmm....30 day trial period....I broke down the boxes for all my Aperions after 2 hours. These speakers were not going back!
I have not had this thing bottom out once, and I do drive it hard. I have a 3000 cu foot family room, and this puppy fills it quite nicely. Good thing I am in California. I already have earthquake putty holding down my stuff. If not, I would definately need some.
2 other nice touches are the detachable power cord and the remote control. Nice.
If you need one sub with nice WAF, this is it. I can't believe bass so big, from a box so small.
Wow - Excellent !!!

Just got my Bravus 12D about a week ago. After about a month of waiting. Excellent sound !!! Powerful and strong bass !!!!!!!!!!!
Top of the class quality !!!!!! Moreover you can adjust the bass
according to your expectations !!! Separate for the movies and music, using remote control or right at the front side of the subwoofer. I think, perfect in case of the size, not too small not to big. I am very happy that I did decide to buy Bravus 12D!!!!!
For long time I could not decide between SVS and Bravus.
I will recommend Bravus 12D for everyone !!!!!!
Wow!

This sub will scare your wife! Mine thinks it's damaging the house (it's not!). I have it in a 700sqft room with 11ft ceilings and it can really punch you in the gut during action movies (80% of my use) and gives amazing presence to my favorite jazz (20% of my use). This thing is heavy -- FedEx pretty much tore up the box but because Aperion packs so well it arrived looking pretty and sounding even better. Don't need the box anyway -- no way Aperion's getting this one back.
