This is an Email that I sent to Aperion Audio on Nov. 4, 2007:

Hello,
On October 11, 2007, my Mother, Son, and I had the pleasure of stopping by and checking out your 422 Intimus Harmony Surround System in your showroom for my Mom. She had just bought a 50" Toshiba DLP the previous week and was set on a little Klipsch Surround system for considerably more money. I suggested since we were going to Seattle soon that we needed to stop by your place and check out what you had. She needs to see and hear for herself. And I wanted to see and hear for myself all the new toys.

Is she glad she listened to me!!! The showroom experience hosted by David was awesome. She was very impressed with the Diana Krall CD, but, when he dimmed the lights and started Finding Nemo it opened a whole new world to Mom's eyes. David answered all her questions and explained how it all works, talking to her like a friend and not just a customer wasting his time. You don't get that kind of service much anymore and she very much appreciated the time he spent with her. Thanks David.

After getting back from our trip I got to set up and play with her new toys. The speakers and Sub are hooked to a Harman/Kardon AVR146 and this combination is very nice and works just as well with music and movies equally.

This whole package is replacing a 25" RCA from the mid 1970's. When I got done calibrating and setting everything up and dropped in Garth Brooks(She is a huge Fan!) Live From NY in the DVD player she cried. She could not believe what she was seeing and hearing.

She now has the weekly movie outing with her friends at her house instead of going to the theater Her friends are so impressed with Her new TV and Radio. I wish I could have been there to see the reaction 5 65+yr old Ladies to the TV and Radio! LOL!

Today we are going out shopping for heavy drapes to keep the light out and sound in. I am trying to talk her into the remote dimmer that David used to open the HT Experience for her.

I guess this letter is turning more into a review, but, I just wanted to Thank all of you for helping my Mom and showing her a great time and reiterating what I have known for a while. That your a company that cares about the customers above all else which is the reason why your speakers and subs are so awesome. She still talks about that day to all that will listen.

Again, Diana Griggs and Myself just want to say Thank you to all of you.

That is what I get everytime my friends and family come over for a get together. They are absolutely astounded with the sound and quality of the speakers. But that is only the icing. The Aperion guys were very helpful. Caleb assisted me in picking the right setup for my budget. The website is very informative and top-notch.

I only waited less than a week for my speakers to get delivered. At first I thought someone shipped me a lifetime supply of Crown Royal with those purple velvet bags. The extras are very nice (speaker cleaning kit and the meter-thingy).

My only regret is not getting getting a 6 series. Though I will definitely get one once my budget permits.

These speakers were everything the reviews promised-- an amazing combination of sound, build quality and price. I am an Aperion customer for life now.

I purchased an Intimus system 2 years ago, and I still cannot stop raving about it. I have had Bose, and listened to numerous others, and Aperion is hands down the best of the bunch... The sound is always crisp and clear. The bass is loud enough to rattle the windows (...and I just have a 10")... On top of that, Aperion's service is the best I have ever seen. You have nothing to lose with an Aperion system and all to gain.

Purchased about 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. The sound is crisp, clear, and true. I have a PS3 and Blue-Ray movies are fantastic on it. The bass shakes the room, but doesn't muddy the subtle voices. In fact in Casino Royale, you almost have to turn the sub-woofer off during the building collapse scene at the end. For gaming, it is fantastic and you really feel as though you are in the game. I've found music to be just as great with every instrument clear and true. Great system for the price. I plan to add speakers in the future, but this is a tremendous system and makes all of the "high-end" brands look foolish with their prices.

First speaker system I have upgraded to in many years, leaving my trusty but tired Bose 301's behind. After getting my new LCD big screen I was looking for a speaker system to match the TV and Onkyo 674 to a small but long living room. Being on a budget for the speakers was my biggest restraint after spending most of it on the TV. After much research; I decided that Aperion would fit the bill, being designed in the US, free shipping, 30 day risk free trial, and a year to upgrade being just as big of a factor as the reviews of the speakers themselves.

Everything was as promised on arrival, outstanding packaging and overall workmanship of speakers; the piano black finish was immaculate. Could not ask for better sound watching tv or movies after I calibrated the speakers with the included sound meter. I don't buy audio/video components that often. I feel confident with the build and sound quality of these speakers that I will not have to worry about out growing this system anytime soon, especially with the ability to upgrade for a year after purchase.

After allowing the speakers to play pretty much continuously for several days to allow them to "break in," the really serious auditioning began. Batman Begins was my first movie experience with the Intimus 422/S-8 system. This was a good choice for me because I had just watched this movie on my regular system. Without going into a lot of detail let me just say that my regular system has a whole lot more of everything (i.e. power, speaker size). To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. Soundstage, claity, and fullness were all more than expected.  The first thing to catch my attention was the integration between the subwoofer and the satellites...

...Aperion, in my very humble opinion, is walking the walk. I have seen products costing up to three times as much as the Aperions, but I did not feel that they were any better quality.

"From product packaging to product features and performance, Aperion Audio has impressed me big time.  The product packaging and the accessories included truly show the company’s care for its customers.  The build quality and the finish of the Intimus 422 speaker system, together with the S-8 and S-10 subwoofers, are excellent and about as good as you can get for the price.  "Versatile" is probably the right word to describe this system.  With flexible placement and mounting options, and strong all-around performance, it was hard not to like this system.  The Intimus 422/S-8 speaker system is one of the best compact systems I have ever tried.  And if you are still not satisfied in the bass department, you can replace the S-8 subwoofer with the bigger S-10, which will give you lower bass extension and higher SPL capability.  But regardless whether you choose to match the 422 speaker system with the S-8 or the S-10 subwoofer, you can be sure that you've made the right decision that value-wise is hard to beat.  Highly recommended!"

"This is a great little system at a great little price. You get excellent performance in a very attractive package. The bass isn't what I am used to, but frankly, if I wasn't accustomed the behemoth VMPS, I would be quite happy with the sub too. I can't think of a good reason why I wouldn't buy these speakers.

This is an excellent system for those wanting to add a good looking, high quality surround setup without sacfricing the living room to a phalanx of giant speakers. It appears to me that Aperion is aiming for that segment of the market where HE wants a great surround sound system but SHE gets a veto when it comes to decor. With the Aperions, everyone can be happy - very happy."
