I have the 6.1 version of this setup. 2 4B's and a 4C in front, and 3 4B's across the back. My room is 11' x 17'.

When I first set it up I was using an older A/V receiver that had the subwoofer crossover fixed at 90 Hz. This made the system sound a little "thin", since the 4B's don't seem to have much useable response below about 100 Hz. It was OK for movies but not that great for music. I have since upgraded to a new A/V receiver, one that automatically calibrates the system using test tones and a microphone. That made a huge difference, after running the calibration routine offered by the receiver, the Aperion setup sounds stunning.

Overall bass output from the sub belies its very compact size. Having a remote control for it is something I could not live without after having it.

Build quality of all the speakers is top-notch. They look and feel like a million bucks. They are nicer looking than any other speakers available at 2 or 3 times the price.

I would say this setup sounds great for the money, except that would be shortchanging it. It would sound great for 3 times as much money. If you have a small room (say 15 x20 or smaller), this system is a perfect fit and when properly calibrated would thrill even the pickiest listener.

Wow. I am impressed. I looked and listened to many compact speakers before purchasing and ended buying these purely off written reviews. With the 30 day money back, I decided, why not?!? They are everything all the reviews say and more. Well Built, amazing sound quality from such small speakers. The wife is happy as they don't take over the whole room. Everyone is happy.

The delivery was fast (3 days) and free. The packaging was amazing! All speakers came in velvet, silk lined individual bags with a care kit that included white gloves and cleaning cloth.
