Excellent detailed sound

These speakers are identical to the 532-LR, except they are horizontally oriented. Based on a recommendation from a crazy audiophile friend, I bought a pair of 532-Cs to be the main speakers in my small bedroom, wall-mounted and angled down, near the ceiling (which is why I needed horizontal). The sound is incredibly detailed. In fact, compared to a similarly priced pair of bookshelf speakers from another audiophile brand, which I use in my home office, the Aperions are crisper and have a better balanced mid range. They could use a little bit more oomph at the low end, but what can you expect from such compact speakers, which otherwise deliver a truly full-bodied sound. Once I add a subwoofer to the system, my bedroom will be audio paradise! Oh, and the cherry boxes look very elegant. Highly recommended as bookshelf speakers or for those with limited space.

Great sounding center

I used this as a center speaker between two 533-T's because the 533 VAC was only slightly too large for the space I had for it. I was initially disappointed having to "downgrade" but this speaker has held it's own in continuing and enhancing the imaging done by the main speakers. It provides great, clear voicing with little to no interference or hissing, so overall it's a very good speaker. I'm sure it's detail is not quite as good as the 533 VAC, but it's keeping me happy. For most home theaters, this would be a great center.
