Originally I purchased the predecessor to the 532, the 522, with a 422 center speaker, and the S12 subwoofer for a tradeshow rental system. After two years, I retired the system to my living room. "What a complete pleasure!" Not only does the system have great clarity and accuracy across the spectrum, but also it has incredible "rip your head off headroom," for those moments that call for a little extra! A great product backed by exceptional customer service.

I replaced my venerable kit speakers with this system 3 years ago and I couldn't be happier. Beautiful cherry enclosures, awesome bass, clear mid-range, and sharp high end at a price that didn't break the bank. With my AV receiver, the surround sound is better than the theatre (and no sticky littered floors). I highly recommend Aperion speakers to anyone with discerning musical taste.

I bought this system about 4 years ago and I still can't find anything better for this price. I shouldn't even say that, my brother bought a system for at least twice this price and I still think this sounds better. Just make sure your neighbors aren't to close to you because this system shakes the whole house!

The Aperion Intimus 532 Cinema (HD) system is the best audio system I've tried (own) for Latin Jazz and Salsa music. The horn sound is cristal clear and the percussion instruments sound is awesome. Listen to some of Tito Puente's Latin Jazz music- you will get hooked-up!

Well I should start off this review by stating that I am not an audiophile by any means. Most of my tech knowledge centers around Video components as well as Computer Hardware, this being my 1st purchase of audio products breaking $1500.00.

I wanted a product that was going to provide me with great sound whether or not I knew about the nuiances that made it great. My product search ended at Aperion where I was convinced that the their products were top notch, and hey, you can't beat the 30-day in-home audition.

My 532 series arrived in sturdy industrial grade shipping boxes, important b/c I had them shipped all the way to Hawaii. When I was unpacking them, I was pleasantly surprised to see each speaker wrapped in high-quality velvet protecting it from the hazards of packaging. This is by far the best packaging I've had for any product I've purchased, including my Apple products (macbook, nano etc...)

I hooked the 5.1 set up to my Denon without too much trouble as I had ordered the speaker setup kit to go along with my speakers. The kit included all of the speaker wire (12 gauge), and banana clips I would need as well as a sub hookup. I decided to test out the system on some Audioslave, figuring the belting vocals of Chris Cornell would do the system some good. Wow, is all I have to say, the bass was deep and rich, and all of the subtleties that I don't have the audiophile vocabulary for, were there. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

What can I say? Have had this system for almost 3 years now and still get giddy when I listen to them. Movie watching is a real treat and listening to music is a dream. I have recommended this system to many friends who were looking for new sounds and I can say that they have not been disappointed either. Would definitely buy again if I every needed another set.

The Aperion S-10's home-theater skills satisfied our lust for bombast; when playing the Constantine DVD, the evil spirits' demonic low-frequency effects quaked with visceral authority. The sub can fill even fairly large 400-plus-square-foot room with bass. Some subs are great with home theater but turn flabby on music. No problem here--the S-10 depicted jazz bassist Charles Mingus's nimble fingerings with crisp articulation.

To assess the vertical array's wide-dispersion capabilities, we played test discs' "pink noise" tracks and determined that yes, the Aperion Intimus 533-VAC's performance claims were valid. The speaker's tonal balance was unaffected by our position on our couch. The rated 80Hz bass response is more full range than typical center speakers, ensuring that dialogue is always full bodied and natural. Two-way center speakers can sometimes sound boxy or closed in, but the 533-VAC's sound was fully open. Best of all, the well-endowed speaker proved itself a synergistic match with even the largest Aperion speakers that we had on hand, namely the 633-Ttowers, and still mated well with the smaller 632-LR bookshelfspeakers. It's truly an exceptional design.
