The 634 center speaker blows away every other center I have heard. Visitors to my house have always been impressed with the surround system. Now they come in, and say "now THAT'S a center speaker"! I had to boost the signal to all my other speakers so they could keep up with the 634.

You better be prepared if you order this speaker.

I have had a variety of speaker arrangements over the years and this is by the far the best value for the money. The center channel recreates amazing dialog, reduces the necessary volume to achieve the same outstanding effect.

The fit and finish of the speakers is amazing! I love the real wood veneer, it tells you a lot about what's inside.

I upgraded to this unit at the last minute and it's been worth every penny. Great voice reproduction, absolutely killer with both music and DVD's. I expect to be using this 10+ years down the road.

Great build quality and sound. I was debating between this and the 533-VAC, and I'm glad I went with this. Sounds great with my 632s and S-12.

Be warned - this thing is HEAVY. I am having a custom shelf built to hold this speaker because it is so heavy.

I had the 533 center speaker (this one was not offered yet) to go with the 633-T tower speakers. I was very happy with it, except the voicing, the tonal qualities were just not quite the same as the towers. So I upgraded to this one. It is fantastic! The imaging is great and the sound stage is seamless across the front! Go with this speaker if you have or are getting the 633-T speakers. You'll be glad you did! Crank it up and you'll be blown away!

This thing is great. The sound is clear and you never miss a word when playing a DVD. When playing action movies, you can hear every word no matter how loud the action is.

I bought this center channel after heavily considering others available in the market. I also considered the 4 and 5 series center channel. The 634-VAC takes the cake. It's great looking, and provides clear crisp sound. It does everything you expect from a center channel and more. It helps to note the dimensions and weight of this speaker- both are on the higher side, but that shouldn't be a deterrent for quality sound that would make any audiophile smile.

This is by far the best center channel I've heard anywhere near this price range. The only other ones that come even remotely close are the Axioms. However, the Axioms are too "cold" and "bright" sounding for my tastes. I much prefer the warmer sounds of the Aperion.

When a sound passes from left to right, you can hear a clear difference as the sound between these and the 633s. This is to be expected as they are designed to make dialogue clearer. This is a reasonable tradeoff.

I stumbled across Aperion while doing a bit of online research for a quality music/surround system for a remodeled room. Like many others, I was somewhat apprehensive about purchasing an upper-end system without hearing them first.

But between the many outstanding reviews, and Aperion's "30-day in-home audition", I decided to give them a try. A call to customer service pretty much sealed the deal. They took the time to make sure that I got exactly what I needed to fit my room.

I settled on the following system (used with an Onkyo TX-SR703):

533-T towers,
634-VAC center,
534-SS dipole/bipole side surrounds,
632-IW rear surrounds,
S-10 sub

I couldn't be happier with the purchase! This system is incredible, filling the room with crisp, clean sound. I highly recommend them, and would make the purchase again without reservation.

One thing to keep in mind with the 634-VAC is that this is one substantial speaker, particularly is you are putting it above your TV (like I did). If you can make it work, you won't be disappointed!

This thing is ginormous! Especially compared to the itty bitty center speaker from my previous HTIB system. But the center speaker is considered to be the most important speaker in a surround sound system, and this one does not disappoint. Dialogue is crystal clear and sound effects come in nice and loud. They are a great match for the 633-T towers.

Just make sure you have the space for this. I managed to stick it in a shelf in the stand that supports my plasma TV, but I had to remove a bar that was in the way.

I've got to say, I'm not a professional audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, but I am interested in hearing superior sound come out of my speakers.

Can I just say, oh my gosh this speaker is amazing. The sound is spectacular and the quality in build is like none I've ever seen in a speaker. You'd never know it from the price, but from the quality of product, I'd say aperion audio is like the Lexus of the category. The speaker blows some significantly higher competition out of the water--in my humble opinion.

The speaker is much larger than most, but the sound and workmanship is second to none.

I came across this company almost by accident in doing some research for a new center channel speaker. Thank goodness because I otherwise wouldn't have ever heard of these guys.

I can't wait to replace my Mirage's with some Aperion towers.

With centered vocalists and instruments you'll swear the center channel is operating even when it isn't. And if the recording contains a clearly defined spread of instruments or singers across the space between the speakers, you'll hear it on the Aperions.
