6.5" Dual Voice Coil, Woven-Fiberglass Woofer

How low can it go…? Really low! Our custom 6.5” woofer is the master of frequency response – enveloping you in a rich textured soundstage. The cone is made of strong and lightweight woven fiberglass, offering a quick and accurate response. The magnetically shielded driver sports a solid frame, heavy rubber surround and extra-long excursion – ensuring superior bass performance for years to come. The dual voice coil woofer lets you feed the second voice coil more or less bass with the flip of a switch to fine-tune your sound to your space.  This results in great bass, anywhere!

Bass Adjustment Switch

Fine-tune your sound to your preferences!  Each Intimus Outdoor Speaker has a bass adjustment switch, which allows you to easily offset the effects an outdoor setting has on bass response.

Commercial Use

Intimus Outdoor Speakers are perfect for decks, patios and pool areas – but it doesn’t end there. They’re rugged enough for use in many commercial applications, such as restaurants, gyms and more.

Aimable Mounting System

Mounting Intimus Outdoor Speakers is easy with the included aimable mounting system. Simply unscrew the speaker to remove the bracket, mount the bracket onto the wall, and reattach the speaker. The only thing that’s left is to aim the speaker and enjoy the award-winning Aperion sound outside. 

Weather-Resistant Grille and Cabinet

Each Intimus Outdoor Speaker is enclosed in a rugged, weather and UV-resistant ABS polymer cabinet built to withstand the elements and its powder coated metal grille is built tough to protect your speakers for years. 

Though the Intimus Outdoor Speakers are weather resistant, for best results we recommend installing them in areas where they’re semi-protected from direct contact with the rain and snow. 

5-Way Gold-Plated Binding Posts

It's all about convenience. No matter if you use banana plugs, bare wire, round pins, flat pins or spades -- they'll connect effortlessly to your new speakers. The gold plating isn't there just to make you feel regal, gold resists corrosion and provides the best possible connection to your receiver.
