Our 1-inch, audiophile-grade, silk dome tweeter has been engineered for optimal sonic performance. The smooth sound of our silk tweeter ensures a warm, natural sound with no harsh aftertaste. We use ferrofluid cooling for high power handling, smooth response, and an amazingly pure, natural, and distortion free sound. This tweeter is the high point of our speaker... Literally.

Dual 5.25" Mineral-Filled Polypropylene Mid-Woofers (ABS frame)

Our custom 5.25” mid-woofer excels as the heart and soul of our 534-SS loudspeaker. The cone is made of a mineral-filled polypropylene which provides resonance dampening and allows it to handle the demands of higher midrange frequencies. The loving embrace of a butyl rubber surround creates a compliant yet well-dampened suspension. Last, but certainly not least, the magnetically shielded driver boasts a solid polymer frame, super flat frequency response, and a deep commitment to keep you amazed for years to come. Switchable Bipole/Dipole Design

Music? Movies? The switchable Bipole/Dipole gives you the best of both worlds. The 534-SS features a switchable design for the ultimate in surround sound flexibility. In dipole mode, the 534-SS drivers are wired out of phase resulting in a diffuse sound field -- perfect for immersive surround effects in movies! Switch the system to bipole mode and all the drivers are in-phase, resulting in the expansive soundstage for music and concert recordings that only a bipole speaker can offer.

Anti-Resonant Chambered Cabinet


Each 534-SS speaker is made of rock solid 1" thick High Density Fiberboard (HDF) to eliminate unwanted resonances within the cabinet. We have even gone so far that each speaker array is enclosed in it’s own sealed chamber offering true reproduction without interference.

HD-X3™ Impedance Leveling Crossover Technology

Aperion's patent-pending HD-X3™ Crossover Technology levels the impedance load across the entire frequency range, creating a remarkably flat frequency response and eliminating the detrimental effects of resistance introduced by long runs of speaker wire. In English, this means that no matter if you have a traditional home theater or your entire house is wired for sound, the performance will always be fantastic without spending a king’s ransom on speaker wire.

Wall & Ceiling Mounting


Our 534-SS speakers offer two mounting choices for you. Integrated keyhole mounts support flush mounting on walls for a seamless look, and we also offer dual 1/4" threaded inserts on the back for ceiling or wall mounting in circumstances where flush mounting isn’t an option. Industry standard spacing on these inserts means they’ll work with mounts by OmniMount, B-Tech, or other brands. Because of their shape and size, stand-mounting is not recommended with the 534-SS speakers.
