Nice when it works

Comments:	Bought my 801 from Aperion and recently had it upgraded to 805, because of the hdmi, it worked great for 5 days, then a loud pop, and in my darkened home theater room, it was suddenly the amp drawing the attention and not the tv....sparks and bright lights in the amp followed by the house fuses blowing out, and wife screaming while running for the fire extinguisher just in case... very nice amp when it works but please google 805 and sparks, this was not bought at aperion store they might have a different newer shipment than what i got, i'm back to my 801, patiently waiting for the 806 to hit the stores

Onkyo SR805 + Aperion 5-Series Speakers = Happiness

Comments:	I purchased the Onkyo SR805 and matched it with a set of 532LRs for my front and rears, a 533VAC center channel and an S-10 sub. This system is AWESOME! Although the SR805 is capable of 7.1, I am using it in 5.1 mode. The 3 Zone capabilities of the SR805 is a nice feature . With Zones 1 and 2 being powered, I can watch a movie in 5.1 in the living room in Zone 1, listen to my iPod on my deck in Zone 2 and listen to the radio in my basement in Zone 3 (with an amplifier to power Zone 3). The receiver is very easy to set-up and use. This is my first true A/V system and I would have no problem buying another Onkyo receiver or more Aperion speakers in the future. Both are outstanding products in my opinion. You can't go wrong here. Enjoy!
