Recently purchased Cherry Finished Verus Grand Tower (7.2) and it goes very well with my high-end Home Theater system. My HT includes (1) JVCRS55U Reference Series Projector, (2) SI Black-Diamond 120" 2.35:1 AR Reference Series Screen, (3) Marantz SR7005, (4) OPPO 95BD, and (5) all gaming consoles XBOX, PS3 and Wii. The Verus speakers and Marantz complement each other and sound quality is phenomenal. JVC output video resolution is 4K and with SI Black-Diamond screen – the video quality is outstanding; yet I would rate the sound quality is better than my video quality. My neighbors and friends are simply mesmerized by the crisp sound quality. I put the system in my large open basement and it is not a perfectly sized room with open bar, fire place etc – but both Marantz and Verus does an awesome job of balancing and providing the superior sound in all parts of the room. When it comes to experience of purchasing - very easy, friendly, and you may seek their expert opinion too. With elegant look and solid build quality, the packaging was outstanding and I bet you would not have imagined the way you are going to receive this product. It was 450 pounds in total weight for my 7.2 system. Bottom line, I emphasize more on Sound than video and I bet you would not be disappointed with their products. Initially I wondered about their 30 day in-house audition policy with free return shipping but after hearing their sound made me realize that the policy was made out of their product quality and their confidence!!! Kudos to Aperion and keep up the good work.

Note: The difference between SD and XD is the subwoofer and 12D was not in stock when I purchased it and if you can get 12D – go for it. I had to compromise due to unavailability but managed to get what I needed with 2 subwoofers. All my 4 surround speakers are dipole/bipole.
