A Compelling Reason to Upgrade Your Home Theater System Performance

Energy Amplifiers, the next level of peak performance by Aperion. The Energy 7-channel amplifier will open up a dynamic power within your home theater system that you never knew existed. Designed to excel even the most extreme sonic scenarios, Energy Amplifiers provide a strong foundation to your home theater and stereo speaker system.

When you use a separate amplifier, it allows your speakers to realize their true performance potential. The Energy amp is compatible with a wide range of speakers, from 160 watts 8 Ohms across all 7 channels, to 270 watts 4 Ohms with 2 channels driven, we’re sure your speakers will take nicely to the Energy amp. Using either Balanced or Unbalanced inputs, all 7 channels will ensure a great connection to any preamplifier. The minimal crosstalk of >70 dB between ANY channel, and THD of <0.02% ensure a smooth sound stage, no matter where you’re seated in the room.

Using high current supply capacitors allows for maximum response to sonic transients. Action films come to life as you hear hear a thunderous explosion - the amp carries the weight and the large capacitors intervene as short-term electrical storage and "cushion" the peak, allowing the sound effects their own dimension and dynamic. Each Energy amplifier circuit also employs aluminum heat sinks for maximum heat dissipation.

The Energy Amplifier is a flexible, high performance amplifier. It has been designed for maximum performance, ease of use, and installation flexibility for small to large sized rooms. By employing cutting edge technology, the Energy Amp easily powers your speakers at high power levels, while at the same time remaining as efficient as possible regardless of volume levels. This allows you to fully enjoy audio and video sources without concern for dynamic headroom during complex musical passges and intense surround sound effects. Don`t worry, the Energy Amp does it all with exceptionally refined cosmetics and a sound quality that will satisfy even the most discriminating tastes.

The Energy Power Amplifier is a rock solid hi-fi component that allows you to control and manage all of your speakers with 7 individual amplifiers in a single, easy-to-use amplifier chassis. This makes installation of your home entertainment system much easier than connecting multiple mono or two channel amplifiers. Designed with our customers in mind, we remember that creating high-end hime audio/video products means that they should be easy to use while delivering unparalleled performance.

ENERGY REAR PANEL FEATURES & INSTALLATION-GETTING CONNECTED

1. Unbalanced RCA Input
Connect to the unbalanced RCA output of preamplifier and turn the switch to "UNBAL".
NOTE: Many RCA patch cables can have a very tight fit and may have to be removed with a twisting action.

 2. Balanced XLR Input
Connect to the balanced XLR output of preamplifier and turn on "BAL" mode.
NOTE: Balanced connections offer minimal "floor noise" over unbalanced RCA connections. Use balanced cables whenever possible.

3. Speaker Outputs
    a. Connect the speaker wires to the Binding Posts.
NOTE: Red is Positive and Black is Negative.
    b. Use either Bare Speaker Wire or Banana Plugs to terminate the speaker wire.

4. Power Mode
    a. ON-"ON" position - the front panel circle switch powers the amp on and off.
    b. TRIGGER - "TRIGGER" position - engages Trigger Input and Trigger Output section. This allows the amplifier`s ON and OFF functions to be controlled by a source or preamplifier device.
NOTE - Use a 1/8" mono mini cable to connect a 5-30V AC/DC trigger wire from preamplifier to the "TRIGGER INPUT" on the back of the Energy amplifier.
    c. "TRIGGER OUTPUT" - link out to another amplifier via 1/8" mono mini cable.

 5. Fuse
     a. Use 5x20mm 10A/250V slow-blow type fuse when AC220-240V input.
     b. Use 5x20mm 20A/250V slow-blow type fuse when AC110-120V input.

6. AC Power
    a. Power ON/OFF switch for amplifier.
    b. Input voltage supports 110-220V automatic switching.
    c. IEC Power Socket.

The Energy Power Amplifier is a rock solid hi-fi component that allows you to control and manage all of your speakers with 7 individual amplifiers in a single, easy-to-use amplifier chassis. 1. LED DISPLAY LIGHT COLOR CODES:Green - On  Red - Standby  Orange - Fault

The front power button has several functions. Press and hold the button for three (3) seconds and then release to turn the amplifier on or off. You may dim the brightness of the green lights by quickly clicking the power button, this will alternate between three (3) brightness settings, and the cycle will repeat. When turning the amplifier off, you will hear a slight static discharge, and the lights will fade into standby mode after a few moments. Upon powering on again, the amplifiers memory will retain the last bright-
ness setting.

Note: When rear panel trigger function is set to "ON" then the front circle button will turn the Energy Amplifier on or off. Otherwise the circle button had no function when rear panel trigger function is set to "TRIGGER". See the feature of "Power Mode".

2. Amplifier Display
   a. Green Light - Power Mode is on.
   b. Dull-Red Light - Standby Mode.
c.Orange(red/green mixed LED light) - This indicates a fault condition. The fault condition is one or more of the following:
      -Excessive Operating Temp
      -Excessive Current (Short Circuit)
      -DC on the output

NOTE: There are separate power modules, the light will turn organge to red as more power modules fault. The light will turn red if all modules protect.
