The lightweight design allows for a quick response to audio signals, enhancing low frequencies' speed and dynamic performance. Our unique damping material reduces unwanted vibrations, lowering distortion and improving clarity.

The updated woofer features composite paper cones, robust rubber surrounds, high-power voice coils, and powerful magnetic circuits, maximizing movement and achieving high sound pressure levels at low frequencies with precision and control.

The Daedalus DS10 subwoofer amplifier harnesses the full potential of its 10" driver, offering powerful and precise control. We have also improved input options. To meet various needs, we kept the standard unbalanced RCA inputs and added balanced XLR inputs. That connects to any receiver’s subwoofer pre-out.

XLR uses balanced transmission to minimize noise and interference, making it perfect for long-distance cable runs. This reduces signal loss for clearer sound quality, while the locking design ensures a secure connection.

The Daedalus subwoofer has dual output modes with unbalanced (RCA) and balanced (XLR) outputs. This design solves the problem of limited preamplifier output ports and allows you to use these ports flexibly for a powerful multi-subwoofer setup. No matter how many subwoofers you want to connect, Daedalus can handle it quickly, improving your sound system's overall impact.

The phase adjustment knob optimizes the phase relationship between the subwoofer and main speakers, resolving phase cancellation and improving low-frequency response. It's essential for accommodating different speaker positions and enhancing overall system integration.

When the switch is set to the Auto position, the subwoofer automatically turns on and plays music when it detects an input signal. The subwoofer automatically enters standby mode if there is no input signal for more than 30 minutes.

If the switch is set to the Always On position, the subwoofer will remain powered on regardless of whether it detects a signal, and it will not enter standby mode.

The crossover adjustment lets you control the range of frequencies that the subwoofer processes. This helps it work well with the your other speakers and avoids overlap or loss of sound. If both the subwoofer and your speakers play the same frequencies at the same time, the sound can become muddy and unclear.

By adjusting the crossover point, you can keep frequencies from overlapping, which makes the sound clearer.

For example, if you set the crossover point to 80Hz, the subwoofer will handle sounds below 80Hz, allowing the main speaker to handle frequencies 80Hz and up.

If configuring a home theater system with LFE, set the crossover knob to Off. This bypasses the internal crossover, allowing the Daedalus sub to process all LFE information which is generally 20-120Hz.
