The king of subwoofers, making a high-profile debut, conquering every user with sheer power!
At times, it seems we become a focal point in the HiFi and home theater world. Our globally best-selling Super Tweeter series, the widely acclaimed Theatrus home theater speakers, the powerful Energy Power Amplifier series, the room-shaking Bravus series, and the Grandis High-Fidelity speaker series, known for its HiFi sound quality. All of these demonstrate our vibrant vitality. We are continuously trying to innovate, constantly bringing more high-quality product options to music and movie enthusiasts alike.
In 2026, Aperion Audio, are proud to bring you the latest technological upgrades with its ultra-large Bravus III Active Subwoofer Series.
For audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts, an excellent subwoofer is a core element in achieving immersive sound – it can give movie explosion scenes a breathtaking impact and allow bass lines in music to be presented with rich and nuanced detail. Aperion Audio's Bravus series of active subwoofers has been around for nearly 2 decades, and its status and performance is well known to many.
However, compared to other brands, Aperion Audio's subwoofer product line remains relatively limited. Especially after the launch of our highly acclaimed Theatrus speaker series, many consumers have provided feedback requesting more subwoofer options, particularly larger models to meet different application needs.
Since the launch of the Theatrus series in 2022, our R&D team has been planning the development of the next-generation Bravus III active subwoofer series. This new product needed to integrate cutting-edge technology and achieve breakthroughs in size and power, while ensuring exceptional sound quality—specifically, clean, clear bass with excellent transient response. "Clean and clear" means the cone movement must be precise and controlled, avoiding distortion caused by inertia. At the same time, the cone needs to possess both high rigidity and lightweight characteristics, combined with precise control from the built-in DSP and a resonance-free cabinet structure, to achieve excellent low-frequency extension down to 20Hz (the limit of human hearing). For true bass enthusiasts, 20Hz is the ultimate goal.
Like the Theatrus series, the Bravus III active subwoofer series is planned to include a variety of models, ranging from compact to large, and from slim to robust. However, our new product launch strategy this time is different from before: we will release the new models in a gradual sequence, from largest to smallest.
A 15-inch woofer is a very large speaker unit, and such a large diameter is necessary to achieve frequencies below 20Hz. If a subwoofer uses the standard "square" design and two 15-inch woofers, the enclosure would be comically large. To minimize the size and avoid resonance issues, the Bravus III B215 employs a curved enclosure design. This design compresses the enclosure size while maintaining the necessary internal volume, allowing two large 15-inch drivers to be fitted into a relatively small space.

What makes the Bravus III B215 active subwoofer so special?
Extra Large Size
One day, the delivery driver calls you and says, "You have a very large speaker that has arrived." Only when you see the actual shipping box will you understand what "large" truly means. The total package weighs in at 220.5 lb/100 kg, the subwoofer's net weight is 185 lb/84 kg, and the dimensions are 43.3" x 20.9" x 19.7" (1100 x 528 x 500 mm) (H x W x D).Is this the first time you've received a subwoofer this large? The Bravus III B215 has a truly striking visual presence. Unlike most subwoofers, you'll need to carefully plan its placement, as it will definitively not fit snugly in your corner.
Equipped with a newly designed 15-inch woofer driver

The Bravus III B215 features a brand-new 15-inch driver unit, surpassing all previous models in the Bravus series. Our engineers have successfully addressed the challenges that arises from using such large cones. As the size of the cone increases, the risks of deformation due to the extra weight rises, making a presise response much more difficult. To address this issue, the B215 utilizes a cone made from an aluminum-magnesium alloy, achieving a precise balance of rigidity and weight. The driver unit is secured by specially designed rubber surrounds and a spider suspension, ensuring smooth and unimpeded linear piston movement. The entire assembly is firmly supported by a robust metal frame and driven by a powerful magnetic system. It is this oversized woofer design that gives the B215 its powerful energy output and extremely deep bass extension capabilities.
Ported enclosure design is the ultimate solution.

The B215 features a ported enclosure, resulting in a larger size and significantly increased weight. However, its key advantage lies in the qualitative leap it achieves in impact and low-frequency presence. It can cover the entire space with absolute control, delivering deeper bass extension and more powerful impact, bringing the home theater experience closer to that of a professional cinema and providing a chest-thumping, immersive experience. The core of this breakthrough lies in the guided design – through precisely and meticolously tuned vents, it effectively expands the low-frequency response range while maintaining excellent control performance. The rectangular vent design at the bottom significantly reduces airflow noise at high volumes, providing ample breathing room for this performance beast and ensuring its energy is fully released. It also allows for easy conversion to a sealed subwoofer using the included port tube foam plug, depending.
High-End HDF Cabinet Design

Although the B215 is a large subwoofer, its cabinet appearance and structural design are highly distinctive. The matte black finish, combined with clean, fluid lines, presents a design style that is both functional and industrial, blending seamlessly into any environment, whether a professionally installed home theater, a DIY Home Theater, or a High-end living room system.
In line with its high-end positioning, the manufacturing process is exceptional as well. The cabinet features a curved design on both sides, and the panels are made of multi-layered, high-density fiberboard. Multiple internal support structures and elastic anti-vibration feet are also included. This series of designs provides excellent stability to the cabinet, effectively suppressing unwanted harmonic resonances. This stability is crucial for supporting its two 15-inch core bass drivers, minimizing vibration interference with sound quality, and ensuring pure sound.

Is the subwoofer too heavy? How do I take it out of the box?

This subwoofer is quite heavy, so to make it easier for users to move, we've installed wheels on the bottom. During unpacking, you can easily pull the subwoofer out of the box and push it to the desired location.
Wheels and Silicone Feet
Two of the wheels have locking mechanisms; if you intend to keep the wheels on, please remember to lock the wheels to prevent the subwoofer from moving during use. We also include four silicone feet in the packaging. If you don't want to use the wheels, you can lay the subwoofer on its side, remove the wheels, and replace them with the included silicone feet.
Can the subwoofer be laid down, or can it only be used upright?

To facilitate user operation, the Bravus III B215 Subwoofer supports being laid down, allowing you to easily place it within the structure at the bottom of the wall behind the screen. As shown in the image above, our packaging thoughtfully includes three silicone pads that perfectly fit the curved enclosure of the B215. When using it, simply insert one pad at the front and two pads at the back to secure the subwoofer in place all while avoiding scratches.
The Aperion Audio Bravus III B215 is a product that makes no apologies for its large size and exceptional performance. If you have ample space in your home or don't mind its considerable dimensions, then it's the perfect choice for users who want to both clearly hear, feel and truly experience sound in their home theater.
