The APERION® Novus N5T Loudspeaker Tower Speaker inspires those seeking only the best sound quality. High quality components and advanced technologies allow the Novus N5T Loudspeaker to bring your front sound stage to life. The tweeter is a 1-inch German silk-dome tweeter is built to operate at high SPL levels and reaches up to 30 kHz. Our new aramid-fiber 5.25-inch woofers perfectly optimized to provide clean and powerful bass.

Specification

After searching the world for the finest of silk, we stumbled upon a natural fiber from Germany and couldn’t resist integrating it into the tweeter dome of the Novus speaker family. Each Novus speaker is embedded with our new tweeter – a high-end natural fiber dome membrane which utilizes a neodymium motor and ferrofluid cooled voicecoil to help give these tweeters a flat frequency response that can extend up to 30 kHz. These design specs, in combination of Aperion engineering knowledge and 20 years of experience has allowed us to create a tweeter so clear, that your ears can listen to music and dialog with ease.

A tweeter may be the “highlight” of the speaker, but a strong woofer can prove to be the true foundation of a speaker. Each Novus speaker utilizes our new 5.25” aramid-fiber woofer cones to bring forth a full range of sound. It features a unique tooled rubber surround to conceal the mounting screws in each speaker. The long-throw linear excursion design makes for a broad dynamic range and low distortion.

The Novus N5T Loudspeaker comes with a Tweeter Adjustment feature. This feature is designed to help the Novus speakers perform optimally within a variety of different listening environments as well as to accommodate listener preferences. We always encourage you to try the speaker with both settings so that you can find the sound that pleases you most! It also serves as a room correction feature for people with “live” sounding rooms with many reflective surfaces. Choose either the standard voicing for crisp, clear treble, or the -3 dB setting for a more mellow treble response.

The sloping front baffle design creates an even phase alignment between treble and bass drivers. Unlike the Boötes void, a porthole can enhance the bass performance of many speaker cabinets. In the case of the Novus, we went with a slotted reflex port design. This front ported design reduces air-leak noise and increases the bass performance throughout the room, so sit back and enjoy those bass vibrations.

Our design team kept aesthetics at the top of mind while designing our Novus family. Whether you have a dedicated black-out home theater room, or an open sunshine filled family room, the Stealth Black and Pure White painting are sure to be endorsed your other furniture. The sleek curved top cabinet radius is a step away from your traditional “box-style” speaker, which contribute a smooth look in your room. To protect the speaker innards from accidents, pets, or curious fingers, the Novus line sports a lightweight magnetic grille, which can easily be removed when it’s time to show off the goods to your friends and family.

The Novus N5B is a flexible front ported bookshelf speakers; small and sleek, that excels as a compact stereo pair, as part of a front stage setup, or as surround speakers in a more extensive system. Its compact design allows it to fit perfectly on a bookshelf or on a stand.

The APERION Novus 5B is a very flexible and versatile front ported bookshelf speakers, which can be either used as an excellent stereo setup, with pinpoint imaging and wide soundstage, or integrated into a thrilling surround system. As the Novus N5B uses the same tweeter and mid/bass driver as the Novus 5T, sonically, it is a perfect match and able to perform with precision and accuracy. Despite the compact size of its cabinet, the deep bass qualities are astonishing. The implementation in a stereo system is recommended in rooms where powerful and dynamic sound is desired, but where there is not enough space for larger speakers.
