The Grandis high-fidelity speaker line is known for exceptional sound quality. Together, these products showcase the brand's dynamic presence. Continually pushing the envelope, Aperion Audio delivers innovative, high-quality options. They serve music and movie enthusiasts alike.
In 2026, we continue our tradition of bringing you the latest technologically upgraded Bravus III active subwoofer series to everyone!
For audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts, a high-quality subwoofer is essential. It creates a truly immersive sound experience. It can elevate movie explosions with powerful impact and realism. It also highlights the rich, intricate layers of bass lines in music. Aperion Audio's Bravus series of active subwooers has been a staple for over two decades. It has earned a classic reputation among users. However, compared with other brands, Aperion Audio's subwoofer range is somewhat limited. After the successful launch of its highly praised Theatrus studio cinema speaker series, demand increased. Many consumers now eagerly hope Aperion Audio will expand its subwoofer offerings. They especially want larger models to cater to a wider variety of needs.
In response to user demands for better performance, Aperion's R&D team has been hard at work since 2022. This followed the launch of the Theatrus series that same year. They have been planning the next-generation Bravus III active subwoofer series. This innovative product blends cutting-edge technology with major advances in size and power, while still delivering exceptional sound quality for demanding listeners. Specifically, the bass must be clean, clear, and exhibit outstanding transient response. "Clean and clear" means precisely controlled diaphragm movement with smooth expansion and contraction. It must also prevent distortion caused by inertia. Additionally, the diaphragm must be both highly rigid and lightweight.
Meticulous control from the built-in DSP further refines performance. A resonance-free enclosure design also plays a crucial role. Together, these features aim to achieve low-frequency extension down to 20Hz. This frequency is considered the limit of human hearing. For bass enthusiasts, reaching that 20Hz mark is the ultimate goal.
Similar to the Theatrus series, the Bravus III subwoofer range offers a diverse model lineup. Sizes range from compact to very large. Weights range from relatively lightweight to extremely hefty. However, Aperion Audio is taking a different approach with its latest launch. It plans to introduce new models gradually, initially launching with the larger models. They will then work their way down to the smaller models. This shift comes in response to extensive user feedback. Many users have clearly expressed interest in larger subwoofers. Now, Aperion Audio is ready to address that demand directly.

What makes the Bravus III B215 active subwoofer so special?
Extra Large Size
Only when you see the actual shipping box will you understand what "large" truly means. The total package weighs 220.5 lb/100 kg. The subwoofer's net weight is 185 lb/84 kg. The dimensions are 43.3" x 20.9" x 19.7" (1100 x 528 x 500 mm) (H x W x D).
Is this the first time you've received a subwoofer this large? The Bravus III B215 has a truly striking visual presence. Unlike most subwoofers, you'll need to carefully plan its placement, and delivery will trucked in on a pallet.
Equipped With a Newly Designed 15-Inch Woofer Driver
The Bravus III B215 features a brand-new 15-inch driver unit. It surpasses all previous models in the Bravus series. Our engineers have successfully addressed the challenges that arise with such large cones. As cone size increases, the risk of deformation from extra weight also rises. This makes a precise response much more difficult. To address this issue, the B215 uses an aluminum-magnesium alloy cone. This material achieves a precise balance of rigidity and weight. The driver unit is secured by specially designed rubber surrounds and a spider suspension. These ensure smooth, unimpeded linear piston movement. The entire assembly is firmly supported by a robust metal frame. It is driven by a powerful magnetic system for maximum control. This oversized woofer design gives the B215 powerful energy output. It also provides extremely deep bass extension capabilities.
Ported Enclosure Design Is The Ultimate Solution
The B215 features a ported enclosure, resulting in a larger size and significantly increased weight. However, its key advantage is a qualitative leap in impact and low-frequency presence. It can cover the entire space with absolute control. It delivers deeper bass extension and far more powerful impact. This brings the home theater experience closer to that of a professional cinema. It also provides a chest-thumping, immersive listening experience. The core of this breakthrough lies in the guided port design. Through precisely and meticulously tuned vents, it expands the low-frequency response range. It does this while still maintaining excellent control performance. The rectangular vent design at the bottom significantly reduces airflow noise at high volumes. It provides ample breathing room for this performance beast. This ensures its energy is fully released during demanding passages. It also allows easy conversion to a sealed subwoofer using the included foam port plug.
Powerful Output and Refined Performance
The Aperion Audio Bravus III B215 fully meets its design goals. It features two 15-inch long-throw woofers, a 1300-watt RMS Class D amplifier, and a state-of-the-art digital signal processor (DSP), boasting a luxurious hardware configuration. In terms of performance, the B215 is truly impressive, delivering exceptional power and a wide soundstage while maintaining meticulous control over detail. After careful tuning, it exhibits outstanding quality whether used for movies or music. Its volume control is incredibly precise, maintaining excellent performance even at low volumes without masking other speakers or causing frequency deficiencies. This subwoofer can reach below 20 Hz with exceptional linearity, delivering a depth and accuracy unattainable by traditional speakers, especially excelling at reproducing the demanding low frequencies.
Using the B215, you can truly feel a visceral impact, while the sound reproduction remains refined and natural. It is this balance that sets Aperion Audio apart from its competitors. Although some competitors may have comparable power, none can match its performance.
High-End HDF Cabinet Design
Although the B215 is a large subwoofer, its cabinet appearance and structural design are highly distinctive. The matte black finish pairs with clean, fluid lines. This presents a design style that is both functional and industrial. It blends seamlessly into professionally installed home theaters and DIY Home Theaters. It also suits a high-end living room system without visual compromise.
In line with its high-end positioning, the manufacturing process is exceptional. The cabinet features a curved design on both sides. The panels are made of multi-layered, high-density fiberboard. Multiple internal support structures further reinforce the cabinet. Silicone anti-vibration feet are also included. This series of designs provides excellent stability to the cabinet. It effectively suppresses unwanted harmonic resonances during operation. This stability is crucial for supporting its two 15-inch core bass drivers. It minimizes vibration interference with sound quality and ensures pure sound.
ICEpower® Amplifier Modules
This brand-new Class D power amplifier utilizes ICEpower® power modules. It maximizes driver control while delivering abundant and precisely controllable power, effortlessly moving large volumes of air. It boasts excellent efficiency and operates stably with standard household power circuits. This amplifier delivers 1300 watts RMS and up to 2600 watts peak. It incorporates the latest DSP processing capabilities for core functions, including crossover, volume, phase, and preset EQ.
Advanced Class D High-Power Amplifier Plate
The B215 amplifier uses ICEpower® Class D technology with exceptional dynamic capability and low distortion. With 1300W RMS, 2600W peak, it offers reference-level performance and precise control over the driver.

Three Preset EQ Reference Settings
- Extend gives an extended frequency response for the deepest bass. However, lower frequencies can be overrepresented and "muddy" depending on room geometries. Subwoofer placement and listening position also affect this reverberation behavior.
- Normal is a direct countermeasure to the “muddy” bass problem of overrepresented low bass/room gain. Lowering the bass extension makes the bass more controlled.
- Flat - The "Flat" mode has no built-in DSP processing. It allows users to connect other low-frequency management devices for use.
Sealed or Ported Illustrations
The B215 features a ported enclosure equipped with a foam plug, allowing for both sealed and ported operating modes. This enables you to adjust bass extension, damping, and output based on room size and listening preferences.
Is the subwoofer too heavy? How do I take it out of the box?
This subwoofer is quite heavy, so to make it easier for users to move, we've installed wheels on the bottom. During unpacking, you can easily pull the subwoofer out of the box and push it to the desired location.
Wheels and Silicone Feet
Two of the wheels have locking mechanisms for safety. If you intend to keep the wheels on, remember to lock them. This prevents the subwoofer from moving during use. We also include four silicone feet in the packaging. If you don't want to use the wheels, lay the subwoofer on its side. Remove the wheels and replace them with the included silicone feet.
Can the subwoofer be laid down, or can it only be used upright?
To facilitate user operation, the Bravus III B215 Subwoofer supports being laid down. This allows easy placement within the structure at the bottom of the wall behind the screen. As shown in the image above, our packaging includes three silicone pads. They perfectly fit the curved enclosure of the B215. When using it, insert one pad at the front and two pads at the back. This secures the subwoofer in place while avoiding scratches.
The Aperion Audio Bravus III B215 makes no apologies for its large size and performance. If you have ample space or don't mind considerable dimensions, consider this model. It is perfect for users who want to clearly hear, feel, and truly experience sound at home. Compared to similar large sealed subwoofers, the B215 has a major advantage in low-frequency extension. It also dominates the low-frequency range with authority. Its reference-grade bass delivers true cinematic quality and ultimate auditory satisfaction. That experience is the core appeal of this product.
With its powerful dynamics and absolute control, the B215 creates an immersive auditory feast. It provides enjoyment far beyond typical expectations. Whether watching Hollywood blockbusters or listening to bass-heavy music, its performance is consistently outstanding. The bass is more powerful, deeper, and incredibly impactful in any scenario.
