Bravus III B215 Dual 15" Powered Subwoofer

We are continuously trying to innovate, constantly bringing more high-quality product options to music and movie enthusiasts alike.

In 2026 we are proud to bring you the latest technological upgrades with its Bravus III Active Subwoofer Series.

For audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts, an excellent subwoofer is a core element in achieving immersive sound – it can give movie explosion scenes a breathtaking impact and allow bass lines in music to be presented with rich and nuanced detail. Aperion Audio's Bravus series of active subwoofers has been around for nearly 2 decades, and its status and performance is well known to many.

However, compared to other brands, Aperion Audio's subwoofer product line remains relatively limited. Especially after the launch of our highly acclaimed Theatrus speaker series, many consumers have provided feedback requesting more subwoofer options, particularly larger models to meet different application needs.

Since the launch of the Theatrus series in 2022, our R&D team has been planning the development of the next-generation Bravus III active subwoofer series.

Dual 15" Long-Throw Aluminum-Magnesium Alloy Cone Woofer

The Bravus III B215 features a brand-new 15-inch driver unit, surpassing all previous models in the Bravus series.  Our engineers have successfully addressed the challenges that arises from using such large cones. As the size of the cone increases, the risks of deformation due to the extra weight rises, making a precise response much more difficult. To address this issue, the B215 utilizes a cone made from an aluminum-magnesium alloy, achieving a precise balance of rigidity and weight. The driver unit is secured by specially designed rubber surrounds and a spider suspension, ensuring smooth and unimpeded linear piston movement. The entire assembly is firmly supported by a robust metal frame and driven by a powerful magnetic system. It is this oversized woofer design that gives the B215 its powerful energy output and extremely deep bass extension capabilities.

Aperion B215 Front Port Design

The Ultimate Solution

The B215 features a ported enclosure, resulting in a larger size and significantly increased weight. However, its key advantage lies in the qualitative leap it achieves in impact and low-frequency presence. It can cover the entire space with absolute control, delivering deeper bass extension and more powerful impact, bringing the home theater experience closer to that of a professional cinema and providing a chest-thumping, immersive experience. The core of this breakthrough lies in the guided design – through precisely and meticulously tuned vents, it effectively expands the low-frequency response range while maintaining excellent control performance. The rectangular vent design at the bottom significantly reduces airflow noise at high volumes, providing ample breathing room for this performance beast and ensuring its energy is fully released. It also allows for easy conversion to a sealed subwoofer using the included port tube foam plug.

Aperion Bravus III Slim Active Subwoofers

Powerful Output and Refined Performance

The Aperion Audio Bravus III B215 fully meets its design goals. It features two 15-inch long-throw woofers, a 1300-watt RMS Class D amplifier, and a state-of-the-art digital signal processor (DSP), boasting a luxurious hardware configuration. In terms of performance, the B215 is truly impressive, delivering exceptional power and a wide soundstage while maintaining meticulous control over detail. After careful tuning, it exhibits outstanding quality whether used for movies or music. Its volume control is incredibly precise, maintaining excellent performance even at low volumes without masking other speakers or causing frequency deficiencies. This subwoofer can reach below 20 Hz with exceptional linearity, delivering a depth and accuracy unattainable by traditional speakers, especially excelling at reproducing the demanding low frequencies.

Using the B215, you can truly feel a visceral impact, while the sound reproduction remains refined and natural. It is this balance that sets Aperion Audio apart from its competitors. Although some competitors may have comparable power, none can match its performance.

Aperion Bravus III Class D Amplifier

Advanced Class D High-Power Amplifier Plate

The B215 amplifier uses ICEpower® Class D technology with exceptional dynamic capability and low distortion. With 1300W RMS, 2600W peak, it offers reference-level performance and precise control over the driver.

Aperion B215 Sub Preset EQs

Three Preset EQs

The onboard DSP includes three selectable EQ profiles to quickly adapt the subwoofer to your room or content. Each preset adjusts the system's frequency response and extension characteristics.

- Extend gives an extended frequency response for the deepest bass; however, the lower frequencies can be overrepresented and “muddy”, depending on the room geometries, placement of the sub, and listening position.

- Normal is a direct countermeasure to the “muddy” bass problem of overrepresented bass or room gain. Lowering the bass extension makes the bass more controlled.

- The "Flat" mode has no built-in DSP processing, allowing users to connect other low-frequency management devices for use.

High-End HDF Cabinet Design

Although the B215 is a large subwoofer, its cabinet appearance and structural design are highly distinctive. The matte black finish, combined with clean, fluid lines, presents a design style that is both functional and industrial, blending seamlessly into any environment, whether a professionally installed home theater, a DIY Home Theater, or a High-end living room system.

In line with its high-end positioning, the manufacturing process is exceptional as well. The cabinet features a curved design on both sides, and the panels are made of multi-layered, high-density fiberboard.  Multiple internal support structures and elastic anti-vibration feet are also included. This series of designs provides excellent stability to the cabinet, effectively suppressing unwanted harmonic resonances. This stability is crucial for supporting its two 15-inch core bass drivers, minimizing vibration interference with sound quality, and ensuring pure sound.
